Which would you watch?

Kevin Spacey finds true love and faces his ugly family demons in Newfoundland, Canada?

or

Jack Black finds true love and faces his fat girlfriend in Charlotte, NC?

Shallow Hal.

She was so fat she broke the chair!

Now THAT'S comedy!

What's your mood?

I have to be in a really rare mood for Shallow Hal

I really liked the Shipping News.

Is there a fill-in for other? I think I'd rather watch some good, wholesome porn.

I loved the shipping news, I think Judy Dench was amazing and as always Kevin Spacey really moved me. I have yet to see Shallow Hal and probably wont.

And that's exactly why you're heck bound.

I'd seen and read The Shiiping News, which is about my people.

Shallow Hal's clips & ads told me I didn't want to watch it as it seemed demeaning to women and was trite.

You and me both, Eumie. I fell in love with him in American Beauty. Liked him before that though.

Ah, I wanted him from the Usual Suspects...then I started movie-stalking him. I endured K-PAX for him. I hope he appreciates it.

I liked him best in American Beauty but enjoyed The Big Kahuna a great deal, which he also directed.

The producers of K-PAX owe any success they had on that movie to women like you and me.

Good choice!

Swimming with Sharks. Now there's a good flick!

Yesss....

Having seen and read The Shipping News, the choice was to watch Shallow Hal.

I found myself thinking the movie was marketed wrong, because it's actually fairly sensitive. Those Farrelly Brothers have a way with being obtuse, I think.

Shallow Hal....

Did you see the thin Gwyneth Paltrow in that skimpy purple number.... omg...... *goes off to drool some more*

Shallow Hal was cute...and pretty funny at times. Thumbs up for the Farrley Bros.
