Good morning to you too Victoria:).

~ I'm trying to get into the mood to do some work around the house. It's in such a state of upheaval and chaos since the man-child made the decision to give up his apt and join the carpenter's union and go to trade school - at their insistance.

I'm listening to Classical Gas by Mason Williams to give me that mood - but - all I want to do is dance or shout. But I can't do either. :(

 No room for one thing. Each room is crammed almost to over-full. And I don't want to be heard if I either scream or cry. My poor feline darling is worried about me enough as it is. He's never more than a few feet from me - he follows me literally everywhere.

Mornin Ladies...

Checkin everythin again before I go to (real life) work. God, wish I had time for hugs all around.

I missed this post yesterday..sorry sweetie. It is a loss, and it hurts right now..alot!! I too have this achy hollowness that you spoke of..and all I want to do today is to call him, as I have in the past...and let him put me in a better mood.
Yet I know thats not going to happen....I swear all my thoughts go to YES right now. I feel as if I just lost a best friend..her loss is sooo much more!! I can't fathom it..it's just NOT sinking in!! And I wish it would so I could grieve and start to heal. Fuck.

{{{{{{{{{{{{Jazey}}}}}}}}}}}

Yes darling what you said! It isn't sinking in yet here either.

~ Mornin' Oman. How are you doing? All of us ask the women - I don't see anyone asking any of the men.

Stuck between disbelief and tears over losing a friend!
Even though we never met in person
and knew him like kayte and jazey
He was a dear friend!

Simple Words

For those of us who share this "net", And know the joy from friends we've met, It just never ceases to amaze me The caring we get from those we can't see.

We have come to know the words we send Have the power to ease and troubles to mend, With just simple words our lives we can share, And we get the feeling that someone does care.

When our hearts are sad and filled with pain, They "listen" to us and they never complain. With just simple words they sooth our soul. To take away our tears is their only goal.

And when it is days of happiness, we find, They laugh and joke with words so kind. With these dear friends we open our heart. We can feel their touch though we're far apart.

Yes, just simple words with power so strong, Simple words to cure whatever is wrong. A never ending circle of friends, for sure. As just simple words provide a love so pure.

~ I wish I could have known him better as well, Oman. We'd only just started talking and teasing - but I look back and smile at those few times - and am so glad I had them.

His loss stunned us all - the weight of it is carried by many - and felt by many more. My heart goes out to Yes - and to those who knew him far better than I.

Finally found your post, darling 'Man.

At least we can share the hurt a bit. I join Oman in letting YES, Jazzy, Kayte and the others who knew and spent such precious time with Steve that, even though we are distant, we feel some of your pain. He'll always be remembered, and posting on LIT will never feel the same. :rose:

~ *Having been awake for hours, coming out and making coffee for those still asleep, she grabs the first cup and fixes it to her liking. Then picking up her crochet and cd/headset, she heads to her chair by the window and the gray rain-wet world beyond - and shivers as she settles into the chair - listening to the mourning notes of Zamfir's Pan Flute*

Good morning friends. I'm here for a little while this morning before Shadow and I take a pair of boys out to get them back on track for their medieval fighting this may:).

I am just here for a little bit today. It's time to restock the larders at the house today. Oh joy, grocery shopping.
