~ Well in spite of his being a trained Fire/EMT (that's what they get trained as in FL.) - a little olde fashioned muck raking won't kill him. A bit of menial labour might just get his head screwed on right and his priorities straight. Don't you agree luv?

 LOVE the idea!

I read further down from here and saw that you get to go to Hot Topic today!!!! You lucky shit! Listen, they have the cutest green and black plaid school girl skirt there...would ya pick one up in a size 6 for me?? I'll pay ya when I see ya...*ggls* I am well tuned to the "Goth" stores too! I hope you guys have a great time..(and personally, I would cringe at the Polo's too...yuck!!.....lmao!)
OMG!! My son loves that store. But I can't stand to go in it. The guy that works there creeps me out SO bad. I can't look at him. He's scary looking. Big ol' guy with those big holes in his ears. OMG There is something SO WRONG about being able to see thru a person's ear. I mean EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW. And these rings he has in his ears are about 2 inches around!!!!!!!!! I simply cannot look at those people. My son thinks it's very funny but I now wait outside the door if the creepy man is working.

I'm sorry I haven't been around a lot today. There's been a death in the family. Shadow and I woke this morning to find the feline of us here had passed on in his sleep last night. It hit us both as a finality when the dogs finally realized it and began their mourning his passing. We aren't sure exactly how old Cat(You'd think someone as creative as Shadow could have named him better) was but he was decidedly old when he adopted Shadow well over a year ago.

I once was a proclaimed cat hater. Then I adopted one from a shelter -- scrawny, jet black and at the time most scared. Eighteen years later the cat (variously called a number of different names since he didn't seem to care one way or the other) he had become my best partner. Huge (not fat just about the largest cat you'd ever see), twice voted the blackest cat in Berkeley CA, -- and he was gone. They are amazing creatures and the loss lingers. You gave yours a good home and he gave to you enough to feel as sad as you do now. I join the crowd in empathy.

I'd request the preppy guy. My son thinks it's hysterical to watch me in there. lol Of course he stays really far from me so no one knows I'm his mom. ;) I want to ask that guy why he did that to himself and does he realize it creeps certain people right the F*** out

~ My heart goes out to you, Shadow, et al. I'd be lost without my little (he's the runt of the litter - and at almost 2 years old {this coming May} he's still small) hell on four paws DevilsEnforcer, Jr.. He's jet black - gold/yellow eyes (that occasionally look green) - and when he walks it's like watching a mini-panther stalking about. His pace is slow yet measured and his head goes from side to side (sometimes) - and suddenly he'll break stride and streakkkk across the floor for the door to the backyard - chasing who knows what.

I love him dearly - he's the epitome of UNconditional love - aren't all animals? - and I send my sincerest and deepest condolences to all of you.

We Found Each Other©

A part of the Us that was
Left us late last night.
Or was it very quietly
Just before dawn's early light?

The time flew by too fast
You were our feline joy
Now You are gone from us
Our darling baby boy.

The dogs searched high and low
And soon began to mourn
We couldn't look into their eyes
For they were too forlorn.

Sleep peacefully most precious angel
We know you are not too far,
Know that we still love and miss you
And that we'll leave the door ajar.

Your comfort will stay with us
As we slowly pace the floor
For we know that you will be there
To greet us when we walk through Heaven's door.

Good Morning Victoria....I just wanted to tell ya I can sooo relate to what you speak. I too, have never been used to getting compliments and to this day have a hard time acknowledging them correctly. It makes me feel inadequate too! It's funny tho, now that I'm divorced, I seem to get more compliments than I am used to. Sometimes it makes me feel funny, but they are getting a bit easier to take as I find myself likeing "Me" more and more.

It's truly amazing how much self esteem a bad marriage can eat up! Kinda scary when ya think of all the unhappily married people out there.
Anyhow..GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!!!!!

When I divorced my first wife I felt like the greatest failure, EVER. But yu can not do it by yourself. By the way, I like you, ALOT.

Now, I'm going to go buy some wood cause we really REALLY need a dance floor in here. What kind of a romatic house comes w/o a ball room anyway??
Kiss and a hug to a very sweet lady
Jim

Giving a friend a hug is like microwaving a teddy bear...

It makes you feel warm and fuzzy.
