Never had any trouble over a period of 5 years...

Credit Card usage on the net is very safe.

I've been doing it for years. Never had a problem.

With the porn stuff.. you do have to read the small print.. as 99% of the time, they set you up for a "free trial" of something for a set amount of time. And you have to cancel before the free trial is up. Or you get charged.

The way to get around this is.. sign up for the freebie (in this case SafeKey) then immediatly go and cancel any "free trials" they sign you up for.

Don't use the free trial thing.. just cancel it.. no worries.

I don't use any of them.

I was foolish enough to give my CC to one of those "free" adult web filters sites actually thinking I was getting something for free.

I kept getting a porn CD in the mail ever since. It took me a year before I noticed that the free CC filter site was billing my $6 per month for porn I never ordered.

I got SexKey, immediately terminated my quote-unquote "free" membership to pornking.com or whatever (it wasn't that great, anyway), and haven't had a problem since.

I forget what I needed SexKey for, but I still have it if I need it.
