Like, if we were going to say "Kate Moss in the nineties skinny" or "DJ Qualls" is the "unhealthy" skinny... I can grasp that one pretty intuitively. But if Paris Hilton is an "unhealthy" skinny, I have no idea what a healthier skinny would be without going to "average".

Me thinks this is more "don't like her"-ness than anything quite so objective. Maybe a little strata against the pretty/skinny/blonde/socialite type moreso than a clear judge of simple attractiveness. May not be, sure... but it seems that way to me. I'm not much of an apologist for attraction, either--so, I'm unlikely to play "yes-man" to local fancy for any reason.

Not trying to be argumentative, but I'm just callin' 'em like I'm seein' 'em and I'm surely not the only one whose getting /that/ vibe (again, even if its not accurate we can at least see how one would get that feeling from the room).

As someone dating a very thin woman (who doesn't do anything to try to be that way) and finds her quite loverly, I think Paris is a touch too skinny, but not unattractive. I agree that if I saw her in a club or on the street, I'd look twice.

Her personality is a major turnoff. I'm with Bel...the older I get, the more important it is (even for flirting). If I'm in a bar, I'll look right past the hot girl who acts like she's the hottest thing around. I'd much rather talk to the woman who seems like she'd be fun to hang out with. Sometimes I'll just watch a couple who look like they're happy and enjoying themselves and appreciate it for looking sweet (since I'm only in the bar if I'm working anyway). The IQ thing is irrelevant because I've dated women who weren't rocket scientists, but were sweet and caring, which was more important. Unfortunately, Paris comes off unintelligent, self-indulgent and utterly clueless. It's a pretty bad combination.

You've nailed it for me, RF. No matter her background or the ways and means at her disposal, Hilton always projected 'white trash' to me. Of course, for many that's a turn-on.

Yeah, I need to rent that. My husband has introduced me to a lot of the older films, but that one has been bypassed on AMC. (I haven't even seen Casablanca yet. :eek: )

I've developed a certain fondness for Audie Murphy though. I watched him in 'To Hell and Back' and... whew!

She looked amazing in Pirates 1. In the end of 3, there's a scene on the beach where she's getting dressed (no spoilers ;) ), and she sets down her foot on a rock. All you see is the high black boot, her leg to mid thigh, then her skirt that's pulled up. Kiten made an audible noise that was heard throughout the theater. BWAH-HA-HA-HA :D
