I tried writing a story that just had sex, it bombed and bombed some more. (Thankfully I didn't post it here.)
Now I try to write a story, something with a plot, something with characters and occasionaly even with a *gasp* message.
These bomb as well but at least I have fun writing them.
As for what I enjoy reading? I like a good story, by which I mean there has to be a plot and I have to at least think the characters could be believable in some context.

Boxlicker101 said:Probably the most sex-filled story I ever wrote was "Mrs. Claus Cums Once a Year", which I wrote for the Winter Holiday contest last year. There was no plot at all, just a description of a sex orgy with Mrs. Claus in the middle of it. Especially the second part. I lost track of how many sex acts described in it, but it was over 8,000 words long. The last two paragraphs were about her preparing for sex with her husband but everything else described the orgy. Part 1 was about 9,000 words long, and almost as extreme, except I had to set the scene a bit and describe Mrs. Claus and how she got things going. Obviously, it wasn't very believable.![]()

Darkniciad said:Some cats give you more leeway. From what I hear, romance readers are forgiving, and I know for a fact that many Sci-Fi/Fantasy readers will skim the sex at first if the story is good.
Daniellekitten said:My very first Poll but I had to know. How does sex affect your storylines? Which would make you happier to read and make you give a better score as you are reding?
I still maintain it's a hole.Captain Midnight said:And of course, the mouth is not a hole but a means of expression.
Fuckin A. Watching people have sex can be fun. Watching genitals have sex...not as much.Dranoel said:Lemme put it this way:
I occaissionally watch a porno flick. The most annoying thing to me is the endless EXTREME close-up of his dick sliding in and out of her pussy. I really didn't want to be that close. I want to see her expression. I want to see her body react. I want to see her tits jiggle, her hips bucking, her ass rippling....
When the switch views to one 4 inches away from his balls slapping her ass, well... I'm sorry, just not a turn on for me.

I can agree with this...I think about the only time I use the term is when I'm aiming for the emotional separation from the act...Usually when brutality or the like is involved...Captain Midnight said:I loathe the term "holes" for women. The vagina is the key to a woman's heart. In anal sex, it's a little different, but women wouldn't engage in anal sex if the nerves to the womb didn't extend to the colon and create pleasurable sensations of stimulation. (I honestly don't know how guys, who don't have those nerves, can take a penis in their bottoms.) And of course, the mouth is not a hole but a means of expression.
It's amazing but I feel the exact same way about the term. There aren't many sexual terms that offend me or turn me off, but that is one of them. There are more ways of expressing the vaginal channel than to use the word "hole" Makes me think of what my dog digs in the back yard.Captain Midnight said:I loathe the term "holes" for women. Agreed...Actually I don't think even then I reffered to the mouth as a "hole" but simply the ass and vagina...Example: "He thrust himself repeatedly into her holes while he forced her back to arch unnaturally by pulling her hair" (almost a quote from something I'm writing but my memory is foggy and it's on my laptopBoxlicker101 said:I tend to use rather flowery language, especially when I am describing a woman's private parts. I wouldn't even think about referring to a mouth, male or female, as a hole.
