I am not sure whether this is a fetish or just considered taboo. Feminists would argue differently ofcourse. I am eager to hear your thoughts/ experiences.

Really? How so?I am not sure whether this is a fetish or just considered taboo. Feminists would argue differently ofcourse. I am eager to hear your thoughts/ experiences.
This has been covered many times. You can easily search for the previous threads.
Starting a new thread doesn't do any harm (within reason). L.J.M there's a thread in the darkroom that got quite a lot of replies iirc.I think period sex isn't really taboo, it's just maybe more of an acquired taste? I don't know I don't mind it, I doesn't turn me on more than regular sex, however if I was with a guy who had a fetish for it it would turn me on more, if that makes sense.
My old pappy always told me, "Son, you can wade the red river. But don't take a drink."
Cookie, I don't mean to call you out on this - I'm genuinely curious here:
I see this response often, and yet I also see people getting angry when others bump old threads. So my question is this - What is a person to do when they want to start a conversation about something that has already been discussed in an old thread? Is it more appropriate to bump the old thread in an effort to revive the conversation or start a new one?
It seems that every forum has their own rules about this kind of thing. The rules on this site say not to bump old threads with the intent of disrupting the forum, and yet when people bump an old thread with the intention of continuing the discussion, there's always someone around to fuss at them for bumping an old thread (even though they did so in accordance with the rules).
So if starting a new thread is discouraged and bumping an old thread is discouraged, what's a person to do if they want to discuss a topic that has been discussed before?
This isn't a question specifically for you Cookie - though I welcome your input, but I'd like to hear thoughts from some of the veteran Lit users as well - folks with several thousand posts under their belts...
Edit: and if it's more appropriate to start a new thread for this, that's fine, but I don't know what forum to put it in!
