Sex during menstration?

I am not sure whether this is a fetish or just considered taboo. Feminists would argue differently ofcourse. I am eager to hear your thoughts/ experiences.

Cookie, I don't mean to call you out on this - I'm genuinely curious here:

I see this response often, and yet I also see people getting angry when others bump old threads. So my question is this - What is a person to do when they want to start a conversation about something that has already been discussed in an old thread? Is it more appropriate to bump the old thread in an effort to revive the conversation or start a new one?

It seems that every forum has their own rules about this kind of thing. The rules on this site say not to bump old threads with the intent of disrupting the forum, and yet when people bump an old thread with the intention of continuing the discussion, there's always someone around to fuss at them for bumping an old thread (even though they did so in accordance with the rules).

So if starting a new thread is discouraged and bumping an old thread is discouraged, what's a person to do if they want to discuss a topic that has been discussed before?

This isn't a question specifically for you Cookie - though I welcome your input, but I'd like to hear thoughts from some of the veteran Lit users as well - folks with several thousand posts under their belts...

Edit: and if it's more appropriate to start a new thread for this, that's fine, but I don't know what forum to put it in!

Starting a new thread doesn't do any harm (within reason). L.J.M there's a thread in the darkroom that got quite a lot of replies iirc.I think period sex isn't really taboo, it's just maybe more of an acquired taste? I don't know I don't mind it, I doesn't turn me on more than regular sex, however if I was with a guy who had a fetish for it it would turn me on more, if that makes sense.

Agreed

I like it only because when we do it my wife is so into and her experience is so intense that it feels great for both of us. I does not put us off like it used to (she was shy till she realised it did not change or diminish my desire)

Funny, when insecurities first fall away the side effect is often very intense sex!!!

Don't mind

In fact I like it as long as I am on top. It's less messy. We also put down a towel and I am always on top. He just washes off. First day is much more messy but it still feels good. Took me a long time to try it.

I like it a lot because I'm at my horniest during my period. Yes, it can be messy, especially on my heavy 2nd day, but I'm not especially prissy about sex. In fact, I find bathroom activities enjoyable too.

My old pappy always told me, "Son, you can wade the red river. But don't take a drink."

My pappy always told me, "Don't trust nothin that bleeds for seven days and don't die."

Sometimes I can't get in the mood when I know there's a mess to contend with. It still feels good and we both still have a good time but I've still got a bit of a mental block. I'm trying to work on that and I think I'm getting better.

WTF, this has just never been an issue for me. sure it's messy sometimes and oral is sometimes not an option but there's no reason not too...particularly for folks on this forum!

I wasn't trying to suggest that the OP shouldn't have created the thread, simply thought OP & others could benefit from reading those, in addition to what would be added on THIS thread. I'm sorry if it through that way, as it was not how it was intended.
