Sex advice

I am getting many emails asking for advice about matters of sexual conduct. Is that common?

I think people are confusing you with the sex-research hypnotist in your stories.

I get very little e-mail about sexual problems. All mine is about computer problems. ;)

Ohhhh... poor WH! Want me to send you some email asking about sexual problems? Yours or mine?
:D

Many many

Hi M H,

I admire your stories.

I get an average of five e-mail a week asking my advice about sexual matters. I take these requests very seriously, and do my best to offer positive advice.

You represent a highly intelligent person that has experience changing the behavior of people. Your advice will be gospel to those seeking it.

While I am writing to you, I would mention that you have been very conservative. There are many erotic stories you could write where a hypnotist uses his power to gain sexual power for either he or someone else. I am thinking of a story about a doctor that set up sexual contacts for his sons.

Hi Softly. My readers love the sex slave angle. I will help a doctor get his son a sex slave! Watch for it. With regard to the advice, I take it VERY seriously. Some of the questions are scary. People have fantasies of control that they want to act out without knowing how. Some of the fantasies show a lack of respect for their spouse. I have trouble with that. The readers are not separating fiction from real life. Yes, the stories are possible, but please, don't really act them out. MH

Hell, I sometimes think they have me confused with Dr. Ruth!

In a word "Yes" I get asked sex questions a lot! I try to give an honest straightforward answer - to the best of my ability.

If I don't know, I don't BS them.

Deep Sleep (don't read that if I've hypnotized you!)

I wish some of my fan mail sought sexual advice. All I get are questions about writing. I know much more about sex.

Off topic, but I hope no one out there has been inspired to use hypnosis for nefarious purposes. It is dangerously simple to learn and the old addage about "not doing anything you wouldn't normally do" is false (it all depends on the presentation). Sounds great, but since the suggestive state is poorly understood by science, you could do real harm to the victim's mind, the things you do will not be forgotten forever. Not to mention the little fact that it is by nature nonconsentual.

Hmmm...come to think of it my best stories are in Nonconsent, so maybe I don't want any sexual questions afterall.
