I've noticed seurat mentioning surgery today, several times, so I wanted to remind you all to keep seurat in your thoughts today.

My thanks to all. They cut a cancerous tumor (about the size of two stacked dimes) from my forehead this morning. I've been on a wee bit of pain meds (tylenol) as I would rather know how bad something is before I numb it, but I think the worst has passed. I will evidently have a bit of a scar as well as a raised eyebrow for a while.

Odd thing: I have no problem with needles, didn't mind the scalpel work or the stitches, and I even got through the cauterizations (and the smell) okay. But the sound of the scissors (or whatever they used) cutting the flesh so they cut suture me up - that sound went right through me.

:(

Again, thanks to all for the good thoughts! :rose:

Glad to hear it went well. Good karma your way for speedy recovery and healing. :rose:

My mum had that done from her nose and between her forehead. It was fine, she healed quickly, and I don't see a scar. Vitamin E and massaging the scar will help it heal and keep it from being raised.

Feel better!
