It may not be as much an issue of "if" you shoot him as much as "where" you shoot him.

Some might advocate total destruction, while others look to disable and potentially rehabilitate.

I'm on the destruction side. But then again, I'm hardcore.

Miles. Liberal here - unashamedly so. No I wouldn't shoot him. I've engaged in dialogue with worse and I've only been hit in the face twice. Maybe I've been lucky.

Fanatics are not that difficult to disarm - they have convictions and the do want you to listen.

The most difficult bastards are highly trained ex-legionaires who are so deep down traumatised that no dialogue is possible. Serious psychiatric cases are not for me - give me your run of the mill suicide bomber anyday.

when you shoot , just aim for the center of the body, don't shoot to wound.....and, once he/she is down, make sure to put several more rounds into the body........make sure the bomber is down and dead! There is no reasoning with a terrorist, or someone who appears bound to kill you. For someone inclined to reason, fine ............if you wish to gamble with your own life..........but your family..........no way. (note: after the deed is done...you will possibly feel remorse and wonder as to why this individual was after you, you may very well humanize this person and regret your actions.....but that will pass.....congrats, you've saved your neighbors,family, and friends) Oh yeah, some will consider you a hero, others .....a murderer...............welcome to my world, you will probably question yourself, and wonder for the rest of your life............but, bottum line?
