Enjoying the quiet is definitely part of my camping experience...especially right when one wakes up. :) Delightful.

It does indeed sound delightful. I could definitely use that.

For the record though, my experiences with camping are rarely quiet. Not just in the dirty way (though that too.....), but in general. I just have bad luck with it. For example, my last weekend camping trip involved gale force winds and record rainfall (completely against the forecast), a tent that sprung a leak that categorically refused to stay sealed, an air mattress (we weren't roughing it THAT hard) that rapidly deflated at 3am, and overzealous park rangers. :rolleyes: Sure you're ready for all that AND me?

The place I tend to go camping is pretty remote, and very well forested. While wind and rain can occur, it's usually not anything unmanageable. Tent issues happen, but I'm a crazy smart daughter of engineers so I've never encountered a structural failing I couldn't negotiate with ;)

Suffice to say, I'm not scared... ;) :kiss:

I'm fine as are my toes if not a little chilly.
