Self-improvement thread...

Okay, we all want to imporve ourselves in our lives, so why not here? I have found that I am, as Nora calls me, "a hit and run poster". I post short quips that take very little time. So, what I would like to work on is making more meaningful contributions to the board by lengthening my posts.


What would you like to imporve upon here at lit? Do you want to be more smutty? More controversial? Less fluffy, more fluffy, more cosmopolitan? Tell, tell, tell.

I need to be far more discerning in where and what I post. I have to learn that not everything that grabs my attention is worth my attention. I have to learn that I should be careful where and to whom I extend myself.

Mostly I have to learn again that this place is supposed to be enjoyable, no matter what anyone else thinks about it, or me.

I'd probably post more things that show my intelligence. I tend to avoid serious things. There's enough of that in real life.

I tend to post to fluffier stuff during the day and more thoughtful things at night.

I've been called a capricious poster because I sometimes do the same thing as what you were saying about yourself, Eumenides. I enjoy all aspects of it and I don't think that limiting myself to just one certain type of posting style would be all that enjoyable.

I stay away from posting on the political and the more nasty mean spirited threads - usually - but I will still read them.
