Hi, I'm nineteen and earlier this year started cutting my upper thighs with a scalpel. I'm seeing a shrink now.

My problem is that I have quite a few nasty scars left, and, being a normal nineteen year old, am wanting to get back into my bikinies, short skirts and short shorts. Also, it would be great to be able to fuck without all the deep and meaningful explanations that my scars provoke. Has anyone got any suggestions on how to cover up/heal scars?

- A BDSM scene that got out of hand.
- A rash that you couldn't stop scratching from when you were younger.
- Exploding Vibrator :D

This may sound too earthy crunchy, but I have seen it work, try Vitamin E oil, and massage. Try to find a massage therapist in your area who works on scar tissue. An osteopath may also be able to help-the keltoid tissues formed after a razor cut needs to be worked on to stimulate healing. Hope it helps-if budget is a problem see if there is a massage school in your area, they often will ask for volunteers.
You could also try simply explaining that these are old scars from an accident, I have tons of scars, many that have diminished thanks to the Vitamin E. My husband doesn't even really notice them anymore.

scars

Yes, that's exactly my problem- all the keloid scars. Unfortunately explaining them away as accident scars wouldn't work, I don't think- there's too many different directions- long scars criss crossing etc, and a whole series of perfectly parallel ones. They're the deepest- and there about 21 in a row on one thigh.

Hmmmm perhaps this is what they mean by pain unleashing your creative side!!

I saw some stuff called emu oil at the natural food store with lots of testimonials for healing all kinds of scars, burns etc.

self mutilation

I'm also a former cutter. It's been about ten years since I did it often, and I've still got some cut scars and some burn scars from my teen years. Eventually, I just stopped explaining them.

Vitamin E does help, though.

I hope that therapy works out for you. It gets better, I promise.
