I just got myself a Megadrive (that's Genesis for y'all in Yanksville) emulator on a CD..

Now i can play all 3 Sonics, all 3 'Streets of Rage', all 3 'Golden Axe', Lost Vikings....

*sigh* good times, good times.... :D

Hope it doesnt screw up your PC like my ZX Spectrum emulator did !

Dude! Why didn't you say something!

I still have my Genesis, all the Sonic Games, a couple cool sports games, one of the better golf games (yeah, golf. Don't laugh!), and a couple strategy games. It still works well, and it hooked to my TV as we speak.

I could get you a used Genesis for next to nothing around here!

Oh, and because it's true - SB2K ROX!

I actually still own my Megadrive, and have some fantastic games on it... Desert/Jungle Strike, Street Fighter to name but three...

But thats at home, partly 'cos it won't hook up to my TV card properly, partly because My room has too few surfaces to place a TV in, and partly 'cos i couldn't be bothered to lug it all the way over.

But now i can just swicth on the emualtor at any point... even have my winamp in the background

Life Rocks... just like me and JMJ3K!

The back of my TV stand looks like a RAdio Shack exploded in it. I have a three-way switch going to my TV, where I've hooked my Sega, my N64, and my VCR.

Holy shit! I AM 3K!! :D

Heh.

Try :

Castlevania Bloodlines
Phantasy Star series
Shining Force series
Splatterhouse 2 and 3

Good stuff there.

You haven't played Sega until you've played...

Mutant League Football.

Fond memories of "Kill the Ref" plays.

Ahh, good times.

Always good to hear I'm ont the only one that loves games in this world *gives a happy teary eyed look* I've played every game mentioned and soooo many more! :D

Anyone remember Kid Chameleon? That was one of the greatest old sega games around...not sure if it really ever ended..it's soooo long!

I got a good Sega emulator and unlike my previous one this one saves games. Now I can play the Shining Force games and Shadowrun. There are also lots of other good games I can play now.

I still have my Sega if I can find it I even have the 32x for it and some games for that.

i still got my sega and even my nintendo, which recently stopped working i'm talkin about the NES

I want to get my hands on a working NES and there are ones out there that still work. I want to be able to play the original Zelda games again and not on an emulator.

never was into the first zelda games, mostly castlevania, super mario bro 3, and the ninja turtles arcade game mainly

Nesticle..

is the only emulator i've ever used...it's somewhat sad though, since i actually still own my original NES system..in complete working order by the way :) I still have my Sega Genesis system and a Playstation...I've been searching for a Super NES simply so i can buy and play Super MarioKart...haven't played it in years and as i remember I used to suck...but i'm a little older and wiser now..so maybe i can get my gr00ve back.

skitch

Sega was where EA Sports first created it's NHL line of games some 12 years ago.. And back then, NHL Hockey was a kick ass game despite the lack of players names and jersey detail.

Between that and Joe Montana football (first game to have play by play) Sega killed many a night for me at home!
