Seeking an Editor for 1st story

I have decided to write a series of stories about my life after college and maybe some pure fiction later on. I had my first story rejected and I am at a loss.

There are some really talented people with some great stories here. There are some other stories though that I have read that got me scratching my head wondering "and they rejected mine?".


So help me out would ya pretty pretty please?

And I am told I have a shot to drink somewhere for asking how long it takes to get a story submitted... Amaretta ok? Done deal.

If you click on the blue Rejected in your submissions list the reason will be displayed.

If you want an editor you might want to turn on Private messages so they can contact you. posting your email in the thread will not work as it will be deleted by the moderator.

Some of what gets posted is so dire you have to wonder but think about it.
this is a free site to acccess. clearly that has implications.
one of which being that reading every single story isn't likely to occur. They rely on reader feedback.
