I recommend sharing as much story info as you feel comfortable here. Your idea may interest me, but I'm not going to PM until I'm sure about it, and I guarantee other authors feel the same way.

NEver ask for PMS, and never send them unless you are dealing with highly sensitive material.

First, you want to maximize the number of people who are looking at your story idea for a couple of reasons. The more people looking at it the more people are potentially going to be interested in it and write it or contribute to it. Second the more people interacting he more ideas get sorted and fixed for whatever problems they may have or things that people might find more interesting.

All around PMs are a bad idea because they limit you to just the one person. Wouldn't you rather end up with three stories by three authors than one by one, and more likely none by none because you simply never hit the critical mass that's necessary to get a bunch of minds working on whatever your idea is?

Why do you put your personal ads, seeking a human (co author) to PM you, here in the Story Idea board? This board is the place for you to put your IDEAS.

This thread was moved by Adm. It was post in the Story Ideas forum, for those that had Idea for a Story, I posted itthere because I thought that forum was for those needing help in puting a story together

I know you wrote your personal ad in the Story Ideas board. That's why I asked you why you do that. You always post personal ads (seeking an author to PM you and write you a story) in Story Ideas or in the Fetish board where they do not belong.

I see the mod of SI has moved your ad seeking an author to the appropriate board now! The Story Ideas board is a place where people post their ideas for stories and/or when requesting someone to write a story they will write out their idea/request in the board.
