I find it ironic (and by ironic I mean hypocritical) that someone who is supposedly so tolerant of alternative lifestyles and objects to discrimination against homosexuals would turn right around and treat others that way.

Ah, but I am entirely supportive of the right of dorks to pursue their dorkiness to their dorky hearts content. I oppose any discrimination against dorks in hiring, housing or accommodation, and I fully support the right of dorks to marry each other. I even support their rights to raise children and serve in the military, though they rarely do.
