"When a Stranger Calls" scared the piss out of me as a kid...

I saw The Exorcist as a kid, and it scared the shit out of me. I haven't seen any movies in years that have scared me at all...I think the worst "scary" movie ever was "The Blair Witch Project". Talk about a piece of shit.

When I was five... I watched the original "Invisble Man"...I wasn't supposed to be watching it...but I snuck behind a chair and watched it while my Mom had it on...it scared the shit out of me...I had to sleep with my parents for 6 months after that...and I STILL can't watch that movie without getting creeped out.

I saw "The Shining" in the theater as a kid and got up and ran out just as Nicholson broke through the door with the axe ("Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeere's Johhny!"). My mom still gives me shit over that one.
However, recent movies that scared the shit out of me would include both "Jeepers Creepers" and "The Ring." "The Ring" is a total mind-fuck and I left the theater going "What just happened in there?" I'm not easily scared by movies...but that one really did it for me.

The last scary movie I saw was 'It'. I'd read the book and wanted to see how the movie held up. I thought it stuck to the book pretty well.
Before that... damned if I can remember. I think it was 'Scary Movie', which I rented a couple months after it came out on video.
