Scarlett Thomas?

What is the thing with Scarlett Thomas across this board of late? Every single troll seems infatuated with her. Any particular reason; is there something I've missed?

It seems that EnglishMuffin and various other trolls keep dropping in Dadaist references to a Scarlett Thomas and quoting books written by her. Confused doesn't even begin to describe my situation.

Bright Young Things was actually a very good book. Not brilliantly written, but an interesting idea and good characters.

Oh, I didn't mean to imply Scarlett Thomas wasn't a good author! I was more drawing the parallel between the troll alts, smirking satire, and communicating primarily via the internet. No insult toward Thomas was meant!

This happens every time I try to be clever. Flops miserably. Sorry!

I've developed a theory about this whole thing actually, but I'm not sure it's proper to share it. I have absolutely no inside information - I'm just guessing...

My guess is that CV (+alts) has discovered (or thinks he's discovered) Ms. Thomas is here on the boards and is trying intimidate her by outing her.

Like I said, a completely random theory, but it's what jumped out at me when I read that little bitch's posts. Good that Muffin chick needs a good hard... never mind.

The reason for alts is that so many people put CV on ingore. CV will *not* be ignored.
