Scam?

I'm aware they exist, but I'm assuming that person is talking about America, in which case what they said is conspiracy theorizing...for now.

Oh, wait. How are they here, then?

Do you go to a haberdasher for your tinfoil hat, or do you buy off the rack?

Tinfoil hats are so first-world countries...

Ya desearía yo ser gringa y así me uno al tren de la ignorancia colectiva en asumir que todo Internet es Estados Unidos.

So you aren't aware that totalitarian countries exist? Really?

Leave it, darling. It's not the first time, and it won't be the last. Enough people already doubted me in the past because I'm either fluent in English (which was worse than now back then), or have access to Internet, as if even the Russians didn't know how to bypass their firewalls.

But I'll shut up or we'll go to PB hell.

Hey, one, we are getting off topic. Two, not that it matters because this is the internet, but I realized my mistake. I didn't say anything in apology because it wouldn't matter, you have your opinion of me and that's that.

It's beyond clear this person is actively playing dumb. They react the same way every single time the same point is made. It just isn't believable that they would fail to get clued by now. So they must be hoping that the people they're persisting-in / slash / succeeding-at interacting with are the un-clued ones.

It's your life, you can take the chance if you want. I know one of them, Saudi princes or Nigerian fellows with their fortunes, might give me my share. But for some reason, I can't get over the coincidence of them emailing me about it. See, I don't believe in coincidence where money is concerned.
Ezzackly. Like, heaven forbid I actually regret my short-sightedness, oh no, my ignorance MUST be incurable! Sheesh.

Also, fuck Putin.

Nah I'm talking about me catching crap from that Russian girl and others piling on. Which, while understandable (I did speak from a position of ignorance), would never be taken back or apologized for, and the negative opinions formed of me would remain incontrovertible to them, even after showing contrition, which is why I didn't bother.

Bots are programmed that way.

Bots are programmed that way.
Partly.

The part bots aren't programmed to do is the part where they reply to all the push-back, saying "what do you mean?" and actually addressing specific content in the criticism.

That's part of what is making this feel to me like a person and not a bot. The other part is the really odd bait. Offering to graphic-novelize someone's smut story is a very odd thing to design an automated scam around.

That's why I don't think it seems automated. It seems like a person playing dumb in order to keep the attention alive.

I'm so confused at this point.
