Not in any account I've read. This is the proverbial "needle in a haystacK": a "good guy with a gun" who actually knew what to do in the given situation. Compare that story to last night's drama where 5 bystanders were hit by a hail of police bullets because cops panicked when someone half a block away tried to pull a gun on them.
