Creating this thread for people in need of a prayer or positive thought.
Many of us as we grow older, have friends and family going through major life struggles. Some are terminal. In the past couple of years, I've lost my mom and my dad and great aunt. I also have a couple of friends going through cancer battles.
So I know I'm not the only one. So list your prayer request and or encouraging word here. All are welcome.

I miss this thread Spenser, thanks for bringing it back.

I have a few special intentions :rose::rose::rose:

I have a friend who is having an MRI being done for migraines.

A young woman I know was told she has stage 4 thyroid cancer. She just finished Chemo and just had surgery to remove thyroid.

A lady who was 91 passed away last night, alone. I was there for her, as she had no family. She was a ward of the state. Very sad.

I'm dealing with a rotator cuff issue. Doing the shots right now. If it doesn't help them looking at MRI

Lily, I see a lot of pain and suffering in my job. I also know many on here are dealing with real life struggles as well. Sex play is nice but sometimes it's nice to know some people have your back with positive thoughts and prayers. I felt it was time to bring it back.

Spens, I was thinking just the other day, where has this thread gone.... You are a special person, starting it up again.

I'm thinking in particular about someone who is my namesake, who as of Saturday night was losing her battle with cancer. I assume she has passed on by now. I would like to send a prayer to her family and friends who have to learn to live without her.

Asking for prayers and good vibes for two of my Soldiers. One is battling addiction, the other battling depression.

Some people find it so,easy to believe in a greater good

I envy you your faith

Sending good thoughts and positive vibes is basically the same as wishing someone a good morning or happy new year.... Only a little more deliberate.

Wouldn't you be happy if you were sad or ill and someone sent you a "get well" wish? I would. And the more good wishes, the better.

Even if it doesn't actually help, I'm pretty sure it won't hurt.

Well said!

A few people that I talk to know that I take care of my mom everyday as she battles leukemia and this is the place that I come to escape from all of it for a few hours a day.

And earlier I posted that a lady I went to school with--she is only a year older than me--had a massive heart attack today.

A Lit member that I talk with on YIM is battling cancer and I chat with him to keep him in good spirits.

So sending out my own prayers to these three people.

Thanks for the thread Spenser.

Honey,
It is not that we have great faith, it is just that we know what it means to have someone that cared enough to be there for us. Yes I have had some really crappy things happen to me and somethings didn't turn out the way I had hoped or prayed...

but it was nice to know, that someone cared enough to pray with me and believe with me.

I work at a hospital and we are encouraged to pray with people. I do. I am also one to be there for the family members and this past weekend I was called on about a patient that had passed away. She was all alone and had no family. It hit me how awful to be all alone and to go through what she did with no one there. To be honest, that happens more then you know. That is why I started this thread back up again. I did it a few years back and felt it was time to do it again. I just do not want anyone to feel all alone.

It is just to be a place to share what is on your heart, people can pray or encourage or just let you know they are thinking of you.

In Real Life, many of us are facing or have someone facing a major trail. It is nice to know someone has our backs and we are not all just about sex.

HUGS....

What a thoughtful gesture Spenser.

My prayers and thoughts to my fellow Litlandians that are dealing with adversity. Strength and courage to you all.

Someone I considered a friend got arrested yesterday. Please pray for his wife and children.

What a beautiful and touching thread.
I'll be sure to keep you all in mind on my next novena. In the meantime, lighting a candle for you all.
Blessings and good thoughts to all.

Ah, thanks Spencer for bringing it back.
Prayers said for those as I read through the thread.
