Saving the World One Bra at a Time

The rest wasn't as long as Gabi needed but it would have to do. When she woke up she felt cherished and complete. The feeling was familiar in a way but something she had not felt in a long, long time. She turned so she could see him, her Victor. Gabrielle kissed him gently.

He was her twin, sexually anyway, he was her missing piece. She took a deep breath, time to go find your real twin Gabi. The one he really wants. The one whose name he uses to call you by. A deep sharp pain exploded in her temple. She rubbed at it.

Sliding away from Victor she got her mirror out and accessed the damage their rough play had done to her. She straightened the wig. Wiping the now dried blood off her head with her fingers and spit she couldn't help but smiling. It had been good sex. Hell it had been better than good, it had been fucking awesome. This was rare for her. Usually by the time she had them trained right it was time to move on.

This times it had just flowed between them like magic. Their bodies simply knew each other.
They liked the same things. It would have been like a fairy tale, okay, granted a dark fairy tale, she mused, if only they weren't working for different agencies.

Wait! She wasn't really working for anyone now. She was dying. She was being hunted. Yeah and this one had caught her, could kill her at anytime but so far, he hadn't.

She wondered what would happen when they found Sophia and Reese. Were the two of them doing the nasty like her mind seemed to think. This brain, it wasn't like it used to be. Now it just jumped to conclusions. Now it made her seen, smell and hear things.

She straightened her clothes then went back to Victor. Biting his lower lip, she woke him up just as the train slowed for their stop. Likely all hell would break lose when they found Sophia and Reese. So be it, life was hell, hell could be fun and deadly, Gabrielle felt ready for anything.

After all, things were sucking pretty badly, how much worse could it get?

"They're gone," Tom said, after he swept through the cabin twice more. They had left a long time ago. Hours, even more than that. Tom could see the work of cleaners, people specifically designed to make sure nothing was left behind. He remembered the shots, bleeding, all of it gone. Nothing but bright shiny floorboards looking up at him.

"They must have relocated," He took out his cellphone, and placed a call. A good friend might know of their location, but it would take some time.

Tom sat on the couch, the same one he had pushed her down, hoping to fuck her... take what she could not give willingly. His cock sprang to life at that thought, and he winced in pain once more, raw tender flesh throbbing against his denim.

"Fuck," He winced, looking up at Sophia. She looked even worse for the wear. They really had done a number on each other, hadn't they?

"What are you going to do?" He had wondered that on the flight, before she had said anything to him, before she even noticed he existed. All he could do was look at that magnificient woman and wondered just what drove her to do all of this. She was dying on her feet, and still, this is the only thought ricocheting in that dieased brain of hers.

"Once you meet up with them," It wasn't supposed to happen. His job was to kill her, she knew the minute he sat down next to her, but he couldn't. He couldn't kill her when he could use her. She was perfect bait, and one did not throw bait lightly overboard.

Still, he never thought they would make it this far, actually get to confront their counterparts. Her sister for his lover, the ying to their yang. The perfect elite spy couple, with the foul and pestilence pieces of shit that lingered behind.

"I'll help you however I can, but I need to know what you're going to do."

Gabrielle laughed. It was a bitter sounding laugh.

"Sweet Victor. My sweet Victor. You don't want to know what I'm going to do. You don't want to know why. If I told you? You'd think I was nuts." She held up her hand to keep from speaking before she was ready.

She picked up the phone book scanning it for bakeries. With one finger on the number she would call and one hand on the wall phone she looked at her lover, her assassin again.

"You find out where they are? I'll order the cake. Then we will see. I will give you a front row seat. You will have to decide how to write it up later." She dialed the phone number.

"Yes, this is Cassandra Dan. I am checking on the cake I ordered. Yes I will pick it up at...she looked at her watch, calculated the time difference, two sharp. Right, right, pink frosting, white cake, Happy Birthday 4th Birthday, Gabrielle and Sophia, uh huh, see you soon."

Gabi hung up the phone. She walked over to Victor.

"Want to go to a party?" She asked in a soft voice with a little smile. She kissed him tugging on his lower lip with her teeth, reaching her left hand out, not daring to try her right, she pulled on his cock a little, knowing full well what condition he was in and that it would hurt.

"Maybe we can stop somewhere and pick up a strap on, some lube, and other party supplies, what do you say my Victor?"

Just then they heard a loud boom and the cabin shook.

He answered her question, and she saw something in his eyes, but she couldn't read it, ormaybe she didn't want to. Sophia didn't want to question his honesty to her, “I trust you, because it feels right.”

She looked at him, her fingers touching his face, “I have something, actually two things, they want.” Sophia laid her hands on her lap. “I went to Gabi's old place, and inside was a safe. Inside that was a lot of things we all have hidden somewhere, phony ID's alternate lives, cash, a weapon.”

Standing up, she moved to the window of the hotel, “Reese she also had a small disk, I have no clue what was on it, and that alone is enough for them to want her. But she also had an emerald, its huge!”

Shrugging her shoulders, “I don't know why she has those. But she does.”

“We need to find Gabi, by ourselves.” She turned back to him, “Will you help me do that? Please?” Sophia looked at him, she needed his help, she couldn't find Gabi by herself and they wanted her or him dead, she still wasn't sure why, but she wanted him with her.

"I need you Reese."

"If you say so," He had doubted himself capable of looking at Gabrielle, hooked up to all those machines and whatnot back at the hospital, but to see her out and about, running for her life, or from some imaginary enemies, that didn't please him either.

Although from what had happened tonight, the set up, the attempted suicide, the assasin lovers that stood ready to kill or fuck at a moment's notice, Reese couldn't tell if Gabrielle ran from imaginary enemies or not.

"I don't think she'll be happy to see me," He went to get something to drink, nice and warm. No ice, no water, no lemon or lime, just good clean booze right to the gut. It warmed him like only Sophia could.

"She all but loves me, you know that, don't you? We've been playing hard to get with each other for years. Fuck buddies without ever having sex. It was fun, you know? A game you play with someone at work, see if you can turn them on, and they'll do the same, but she refused to take it a step further. I thought... I thought she was trying to make me just take her one day. I probably would have, one of those days. We had... something special, not like Panama, but close. If she sees me with you... it'll kill her, and I don't know what she'll do."

Sophia looked at him, “It doesn't surprise me. Everyone does that, plays the let's not have a relationship while we work, but let's tease and get all horny. Tom and I did, I thought I could love him,“ she pressed her hand to Reese's heart, ”I was wrong.“ Her lips moved to take his, and she kissed him softly, her breath mingled with his, and she reluctantly moved away.

“I'm not sure where to start looking for her,” Sophia grabbed a notepad she had started using that was located by the hotel phone. “I made a few calls, the last place she was known to have been was on a flight, towards the Alps, but that makes no sense or she'd be here.“

Suddenly a loud explosion was heard and the hotel building shook. Reese and Sophia both rushed to the window of their suite and looked out. A black billowing cloud filled the sky, a great contrast to the snow capped mountains. They looked at each other and gathered their gear.

“Well if that doesn't prove it was a set up then nothing will.“ They both took one last look at the site that would have been where they were supposed to be at that moment, it now was nothing but a flaming mass of steel.

They checked out, quickly rented a car and headed towards the airport. “I think we need to start from the states, she isn't in the Alps, if she was, she'd be here with me now.“

Sophia watched the scenery go by as Reese drove, “I just want her safe Reese, I'll deal with her jealousy later, I just want her with me.“

Reese could just not imagine it. His little Gabrielle getting up off the operating table and running all the way here. God, that took guts. Strength, courage, ignorance, stupidity, and more balls that he ever gave her credit for.

"If she was trying to find us, she wouldn't have know we were at the hotel. Tom found us because everyone knew we were staying at the cabin. When we moved, we didn't tell anyone, to keep any leaks from getting out... but apperently people knew anyway. The right people learn about that stuff fast."

Reese knew Gabrielle, at least he knew her more than her sister did. Reese spent years with her, trained with her, almost made love to her dozens of times. He couldn't get into her mind though, couldn't figure out what she was trying to do.

Some bolt had gotten loose inside that brain of hers while the doctors were operating, and she didn't act like his partner anymore, she was acting completely different.

"But, she would still need a place to stay. We could check the train station to see if some crazy woman got off. She may be on her feet, but I doubt she can be inconspicuous less than 10 hours after major surgery."

Tom covered her as the cabin shook, his body on top of hers almost anticipating the sound of gunfire. Dead thuds in his back, and the excrutiating pain that would follow.

It didn't though, and when the shaking stopped, Tom was already on his feet, gun out, looking at the window. On the other side of the forest a dark smoke billowed up into the clear blue sky above.

"Looks like your sisters handiwork," Tom said. It was Reese's too. He could smell it, they had something to do with it.

"That doesn't look too far away, you want to check it out?" The rest on the train had done wonders for her, but she still looked weak and pale, "You sure you are ok?"

Gabi looked at her unexpected protector with some surprise and grinned.

"Sure I'm fine. Well as fine as I can expect. I don't want to go the site, that would attract too much attention. It has to be covered with agents from all sides in short order. Just see if you can find them through back channels I'll do the same. Otherwise the next stop is the bakery. I can't see her until I have the cake!" She nodded and smiled. "Cake is very important." She giggled a little.

"I like how you threw yourself on top of me. That felt hot Victor." She said and blew him a kiss.

"The key is to find them before they head back to The States."

Sophia agreed and the two of them hurried towards the train station, "Reese what I don't like is the fact that we have no clue as to where Tom is or Gabi, what if he found her? What if they, whoever the fuck they are didn't tell me? I mean, it would bring us out wouldn't it. I bet when we find Gabi we find that asshole to. He had better not have hurt her. Damn it! I just want her safe!"

She stared out the window as the scenery soon began to change from isolation to more of a tourist trap. The local shops were open and business was steady. The season usually brought in great crowds, but the skiing wasn't the best this year, so only steady customers strolled the sidewalks.

Pulling into the parking lot of the train station, Sophia pulled out her weapon, checked the clip, and then the barrel of her other one. She felt the knife in her boot, and put her weapons away. Once the car had been parked, and the couple got out, they walked arm in arm, towards the train station.

If someone were to look at them, they would easily see a lovely young couple deeply in love. No one would suspect them, as a pair of trained killers. Sophia opened the door of the station, and the warm heat hit her skin. She unkotted her scarf, and looked back at Reese. "I'll check the ladies room, you stay here, then when I come back, I'll wait why you check the men's then we'll ask the counters and pass this picture around," she took a small snapshot of Gabi from inside her coat, "its one of the survelliance shots from some mission she was on back in Korea, it was in that big group of crap they pushed at us when we met, I have another one for me."

She headed towards the restroom, "I'll be back in a bit."

Tom? Wait, why did she think Tom was with Gabrielle? Reese furrowed his brow, wondering where that had come from? Twin esp? He had heard of it before, where twins just somehow knew if one was in trouble, or if the other got bumped in the head or something.

Yet, this was the first time Sophia had mentioned anything. Reese was doubtful. More than likely Tom was just licking his wounds in some nice state hospital somehwere.

Yet, as his questioning of certain train agents, ticket sellers, and some local college kids, young ones with backpacks and starry eyes at the foreign country they were in, told him indeed the woman was with a man....

A man with a limp.

God, Sophia had been right. Maybe that twin esp shit was going to work in their favor after all. Now, if she could just point it in the direction of Gabrielle.

Reese nodded to the last couple, who had indeed seen a limping man and a near unconscious girl make their way to a cab and go off towards town. They could be anywhere...

Except, if it was Tom, Tom already knew where they were. If Gabrielle wanted to go see her sister, and Tom was... for God knows why helping her, they would go to the cabin. No one had known they switched to the hotel.

He didn't think they would still be there, but it was worth a look.

"Sophia?" They needed to go, in any case, they were wasting time here.

Sophia walked over to Reese, “Yes, do you have something?” She looked at him anxiously. He told her about how the folks he had asked had seen a woman with a man and the man had a limp.

“OH God! He does have her! But why, and how?” Sophia racked her mind. “He had to have known where she was at, to get to her before they did, unless they knew. Shit!.”

She pushed her way out of the train station, “Is he planning on using her as bait, doesn't he realize she needs to get back to the hospital, she's got a fuckin' donor for god's sake!“

Feeling Reese's arms on her shoulders, she took a deep breath, and felt his kiss on her head, “I'm calm now, we only know of one place that Tom could think we may be, but if he thinks we'd still be there, he's a dumber agent then I ever teased him about being. What idoit would have stayed around where she was almost raped.“

She took the keys from Reese, “My turn lover, we need to get to the cabin, and kill someone, before they decide to kill us, or Gabi.“

They made two stops before heading back to the cabin. Tom thought the cabin would be best, a free place to stay for a few hours, relatively safe until his guy called back with their new location. And, there might be the offshot chance they would return, and it would be like one fucking happy reunion again.

In town, Tom dropped Sophia off to get the cake. She seemed to want to do that herself. She had something in her mind droning on and on about a birthday cake. Tom would not be the one to try and knock her out of her crazy stupor, not when he was fucking her and pretending she was her sister.

The next stop was an adult shop, where he had searched the aisled for their new instruments they would need. A nice big dildo, 9 inches and almost as thick as a beer can, strap on, lots of lube, handcuffs, cock ring, a whip, ball gag, anything and everything to show your love. Being in a wonderful country where the drug laws were a little less strict, he also picked up some formitable supplies in that nature. Weed, pills to get you up, take you down, hallucinate, and a few shrooms for when you really wanted to fly.

Top it all off with a case of hard liquor, and by the time he stopped the car in front of the bakery, he had more than just a wicked grin on his face.

"You ready Sophia? It's almost time," He gave her a wink.

Gabrielle had made some special arrangements with the bakery. The place looked perfectly normal but it was more than a bakery.

She walked in, waved Victor off to look for sex toys they could give each other sweet torture with later, if there was a later, then her eye bore into those of the cashier.

"It's a beautiful day for strudel." She said with a perfect local accent. "Still I think I prefer bon bons."

"Try the Napoleon's I have some fresh in the back." The shop owner said. He called someone else to tend the register. They walked into a back room, the ovens sent a heavenly aroma but they went past them and down a hall.

"A secret panel opened up with toys not meant for sex but for spies and assassins." Gabi smiled a rather horrible sort of smile at the sight of all the goodies. Quickly she selected what she wanted then thanked Hugo, a long time contact who would help her off the books.

"You are the best. Thanks." He smiled at her praise.

"Your Mother would have wanted me to help." He murmured making a gesture that clearly said, 'think nothing of it.'

"Someday I will replay you if I can."

"Do not worry about it. I am happy to do it."

He handed her the cake box after she hid the other items on her person.

Without speaking further she headed back out of the bakery, pausing only to pick up a Napoleon and eat it with one hand while holding the bakery box with the other hand.

She was back on the street and waiting when Victor came to get her.

"Gabrielle don't forget she is your sister." Momma's voice said.

Not bothering to answer Momma she got in the car, put her seat belt on, licked her fingers free of chocolate and cream before securing the cake box in her lap.

"Almost time for what Victor?" She asked.

"Time for what? Why, the party of course. It's time for the party, sweet Sophia. You've got the cake, I've got the supplies, our guests will be coming soon."

He reached over to kiss her, as they arrived at the cabin. Tom's phone went of, he answered it, liking what he heard. When he popped the trunk, grabbing the bags he smiled at his Sophia.

"I told you. They are coming. They got a hotel a few miles away, but checked out an hour ago. They were seen at the train station, and at the moment are coming right back here. You see, my Sophia? It will be a party after all."

He took out his gun, making sure it was loaded.

"We should get ready, my love."

She kissed him back like it was the most natural thing in the world. A nice romantic kiss for her Victor who calls her by her sister's damn name. Her knee came up between his legs nudge against his still torn up cock. His phone rang or more might have happened but she smiled at the look of pain and interest on his face. She watched the two mix one coloring the other then be chased away with regret by his ringing phone.

Gabi watched him while he took his phone call. The whole time she was fiddling with the cake and looking through what else he bought. Sometimes a hand or finger would check out some of her equipment when Victor wasn't looking in her direction.

His purchases were good for a party that was for sure. She tested the whip just for fun. She made the good luck horseshoe above the cabin door turn wrong side down.

"Oh I'm ready." Gabrielle cooed back to the man that wanted her sister but was settling for her. "My love. My Victor. I've been ready for this, seems like years." She chuckled and motioned him closer to her. Coiling the whip around them she rubbed it against their bodies which in turn rubbed against each other.

"Just watch me be ready honey." She said with a sort of look that wasn't entirely of this world.

Reese gave her a wink and then got into the passenger seat. He took out his gun, already anticipating a blood bath. God damnit. How could one person fuck so much up. Tom had gotten his nose so far up everyone's business that he was becoming more than just an annoyance. At this point, he was a fucking liability.

Sophia held some sort of sentiment with him. Maybe she thought he was nothing more than some fucking love sick puppy that just missed their flirting, but she had almost been raped. He wondered if she really couldn't see Tom for who he is, and rather look fondly back on who he was, or if she was just unable to see him at all.

At the cabin, there was indeed a car sitting in the driveway. Reese let the hammer fall back at the site of the car, stepping out before Sophia had even pulled to a stop.

"There inside all right. And they probably know we're here. Well hun, it's your sister and your crazy partner. What do you want to do?"

Sophia took a deep breath. She hadn't wanted them to be here, she really wanted to get here and see them not here. Gabi was what she wanted, she wanted her sister alive and well. Tom, he was just upset because they never got to be together, work got in the way, then Reese came back. Her heart realized where it wanted to be. She didn't want either of them dead, not really.

“Let's see what is going on inside, decide where they are if we can, then you go in from the back, and I'll go in from the front,” she smirked, “sounds so orginal doesn't it?” Shrugging her shoulders they moved through the small part of the woods that was located near the kitchen window. “Reese, I don't want Tom killed, unless it is necessary, I think he knows more then he's letting on and we need to keep him alive.”

She hoped he wouldn't let the attempted rape on her be his deciding factor in this game of cat and mouse. Sophia really thought it was because of the shock of seeing her and Reese together. Surely he wasn't a vile man, she had known he was wild and reckless, but underneath it all he showed signs of love, compassion and gentleness, all of that couldn't be a ruse could it?

The two seperated and moved closer to the cabin. They looked into the various windows that were closest to them, then seperated. Each one moving towards their destinations. Reese was at the back and Sophia the front. She looked through the rooms and spotted her sister looking all kozy and warm with Tom's body pressed against her.

A shiver of something Sophia didn't recognize rolled through her. She didn't know if Reese was in postition, but she needed to act, she needed to catch them by surprise. Kicking in the door of the cabin, Sophia advanced found the couple and aimed her gun.

“Hey Tom, try and rape me, fail so you decide to fuck my sister instead?”

Gabrielle turned toward her sister. A small but deadly gun appearing in her hands like magic. The whip uncoiling on it's own from her and Victor's body.

"No actually he was still raping you. You were what he wanted, not me. Still he may have found a little surprise with his faux Sophia. Ah, but you are the real Sophia I assume? At least you look like the surveillance photo's I've seen. Where is your partner, flanking the back? You know, the one you were supposed to explode with, Reese?" She said his name in a hiss and with a laugh.

Gabi stared at Sophia like she were an object of art. It looked like Gabrielle was trying to decide if she liked that sort of art or found it abstract and ugly. While she started her body began to heat up, her heart started beating faster and Gabrielle licked her lips. Shadowy images of Sophia at the same age and looking nearly the same flashed through her mind.

Tom gave a small grunt of surprise as he pressed the gun against Reese's head. He loved the feeling of power, holding the man that Sophia held in such regard at the brink of death, the cold steel pressed against the man's flesh.

Yet, as Tom pressed the gun to Reese, he also felt the barrel touch his own head. His eyes blinked once, and then once more to make sure he could not see it. The guns criss crossed, wavering next to each other, deadly and dangerous. Two live wires inches from touching each other, ready to go off at a moment's notice.

"Now now," Tom said, quietly, low, almost a growl in his voice, "This is a family reuinion long in the waiting. We aren't going to have any outsiders try and step in. We're observers, nothing more. Boyfriends in the background while the ladies talk for a little bit."

Steel to steel, head to head, tension so far in the cabin would be cut with a knife and bleed like a stuck pig. Everyone's gun was out, aimed, steady. Any bullet would set off all others, and no one would be left standing.

A moment of silence as the world held its breath...

And waited.

Sophia looked at Gabi, not quite seeing her sister. Before her stood a woman, worn out, eyes sunk in, her face ashen white. She looked as if just holding the whip was a chore. Her eyes looked over Reese and Tom, each man holding a gun on the other.

Cocking an eye, she lowered her weapon to the floor. "Gabi, they have a donor for you at the hospital, I want you to know who it is, but not until we can settle this. I want you safe, and that's all."

Looking at her sister clench and unclench the whip, Sophia hoped she could reach her. "Tom tried to rape me, and that is why he was shot in the leg, no other reason." She glanced up at him, her steps slowly advancing towards her sister. Sophia kept her arms open and her palms up and exposed. "Really, sis. I think we need to get you the help you need."

She watched her sisters eyes roam over her. Sophia felt as if a great void was buried within Gabi, and she needed to reach in and grab it. Her fingers locked on Gabi's wrist, and held it tight. "Let me help you."

Reese cursed inisde his head as Sophia lowered the gun. Oh, fuck her and her trusting spirit. What in the hell was wrong with her? The people in here were not like him, they would not look at the situation and realize it was better not to shoot. These people would kill her, or hurt her to the point she wished she was dead.

In a swirling motion, Reese took out his other gun, pointing it up at Gabi. Slow and steady, pointing at her with deadly accuracy.

"What did you do to her?" He asked Tom. Gabrielle looked like a walking corpse. Sunken face, hallow eyes, horrible wig that was askew on her head. She was dead on her feet, and still despite all that he drank her in like a man dying of thirst in the desert. Beautiful and deadly, hollow and complete. His heart reached out to her as the gun steadied on her head.

"We're all going to calm down," Reese said, both guns pointed, armed, too deadly to be ignored, "All right? We're all in the situation now... no one's coming out of this a winner. Ok? So... let's just calm down a minute."

"Ooh! I didn't see YOU come in Reese! You gonna shoot me Reese?" Gabi asks. "I don't think you really want to do that."

She is not touching the whip now and hasn't been since Sophia burst in. She still has this small deadly gun on Sophia. The whip has long since uncoiled itself and slithered with a thud on the floor.

"Sophia? Have we? Have we met before? Like recently?" Gabrielle says in a strange small voice as if she is straining to remember something or caught up in a dream.

Her sister grabbed her arm. Her right arm. It was the weak one. The one that was holding the gun. As if she hadn't even realized she had it, that the gun was of no consequence whatsoever, she lets it be taken away from her.

"Yes I need your help. Momma said so. She said finding you would make me well. I just had to bring the cake, the pink cake. See?" Gabrielle says pointing to the cake on the counter vaguely.

"I don't need the hospital or any transplant I just needed to find you. My dear sister whom everyone loves." She takes a great sigh and looks at Reese.

"Everyone, loves Sophia, so why don't you do it then Reese? All that time teasing me and threatening me, making me think we could have something what a fucking joke eh? It's clear where your loyalties are now, so fucking shoot me already!" She says taking his hand in her left and pushing the barrel against her heart.

"Point blank, what could be easier Reese? It's too easy isn't it? Not much of a challenge for such a good shot as you?" She smirks.

"As for Vic, a, Tom he didn't do anything I didn't want him too. He knows how to play. Now that gun shot wound? That was a nice touch. Really helped heighten the moment if you know what I mean as he fucked, his Sophia." She laughs a high pitched crazy sound looking at Victor.

"All the guns in the world isn't going to fix this boys. Why don't you put your cocks back in their holsters?" She turns back to Sophia. "Like little boys aren't they? Nasty dangerous little boys but boys nonetheless. So you want some cake? I know I do! And I want an end piece or there will be big trouble."

Sophia looked at Gabi, concern showing in her eyes. The cake from their birthday party looked just like that. She thought to herself. Sophia looked to Reese and then to Tom, "We'll all shoot each other later, just both of you lower your guns, and then Gabi and I are going to have our Birthday Party."

She didn't bother to look at either man anymore, "Let's go in here Gabi, and we'll have cake. I don't like the end pieces any more, to much Icing. Don't you remember how dirty we used to get when we would eat cake?"

Sophia placed her hand in Gabi's and together they walked toward the birthday cake. "Look, Gabi, it is just like that one we had when we were little, remember. I do. I'm sorry I didn't share the end piece, I wasn't a nice and I'm sorry, I'm better now, you can have a corner piece too, there is double the icing."

The women faced the cake, the men, watching their every move. Everyone waited to see what Gabi was going to do next. Sophia wanted the Gabi she met at the college, she wanted the friend she had pizza with, the woman she met before all of this happened. The ice cream nut, that had every flavor Baskin Robbins offered and then some. "I'll cut the cake Gabi, do you still want an end piece of does the corner piece look tasty too?"

"Put it down."

Reese let his steel eyes move to slits, "You put it down."

"You first."

They paused for a moment. Both guns unmoving, straight and deadly. Neither failed, faltered. They seemed to both be on the verge of firing and putting away their guns. Tom gave a wicked smile, and then Reese returned in kind, as his razor teeth flashed brilliance.

You call her Sophia?" Reese cocked his head to the side.

"You fucked her years ago, teased her sister and then tore out her heart by fucking her once more?"

Hate could have swelled up, crashing over both of them, some swirled tsunami that threatened the entire coastline.

Reese looked back at the two sisters, as they were becoming close once more. Reese didn't like it, something was wrong. In his gut, the instinct that he had followed so well on assignments was going off once more.

"What did she do?"

Tom lowered the gun, sitting down on the couch, "Ask her yourself."

Reese stood there, alone. A statue left standing where all others had crumbled to dust. He had both guns out, pointing arbitrarily at them. God, was he the only sane one in this room? Everyone else seemed so fucking eager to please or had lost it.

Reese ground his teeth together, finding for a second time that Sophia was putting him in a place he did not want to be in. He lowed his guns, putting them away, and leaning against the back of a wall.

"This changes nothing..."

Tom gave a high pitched laugh that made him sound less and less sane, "On the contrary, my good friend. Everything's changed."
