Satellite type help?

Here's the deal. Hubby recently bought a Multiprog 2001XL wafer card programmer. Yeah, whatever. LOL It's for programming satellite decryption schemes. Anyway, he can't figure out how to work it and has no instructions for it. Does anybody know anything about these things? Help.

April, I think you're in Germany, no? Here is a site on the card, but it's in German. Maybe you could get a neighbor to translate, or maybe someone here could do it.

We've downloaded various programs, looked at loads of instructions, but nothing seems to work. I thought maybe someone here might have some ideas. (and am mostly doing this to make hubby feel better, but don't tell him that)
