Why haven't they been imposed already ?

Israel's been in violation of UN resolutions for the past 50 years. It's been guilty of acts of unprovoked aggresion against its neighbours, it's been guilty of warcrimes, and it's widely believed to be in possesion of illegal WMDs (including atomics).

Why does the world tolerate this rogue state ?

And why does the US taxpayer continue to fund it (putting to one side the contention that Bush's America is just plain evil) ?

Why do you still bother? You ahve not convinced one person from what I can tell that you are right. You just continue to look like a jack ass. Well I'm done. Call me some names and have some fun.

Because of US's veto

thank you and you did so without even insulting somebody's mother.

now would anybody explain to mean whether christian zionists are technically sane?

But that's my point.

The US veto will certainly save Israel from the deserved sanctions that were imposed on the equally rascist state of South Africa.

And you can bet that when Sharon sparks up the Zyklon B the Americans will be calling everyone who opposes that gencoide a Nazi (just like they accuse everyone who opposes Israel's ethnic cleansing of being a Nazi).

But

Who gives a shit ?

If the Chinese or the EU had the stones to put their dollars where their ethics are they'd become the beloved of the Arab world.

Isn't it time to start treating the Israelis like the pariahs they are ?

I always enjoy your postings about Israel.

You have to be the second most blind fucker on Lit.

How do you figure trying to kill them off for a few thousand years unprovoked?

I will try to keep it simple.

Damn near every nation in or close to Israel hates them, would like to see them dead and has tried to kill them off and will try again.

Now, as one might expect, Israel is a little paranoid. I have noticed constant attack either by armies and terrorist and suicide bombers tends to make one that way. All they want is to be left alone.

And that is not going to happen.

So they are damned if they retaliate and damned if they don't.

What is it with you people and your obsessive behavior about Israel?

I am not obsessive. I just hate hearing the same old crap over and over again.

I seriously want to know why anybody could think that sanctions aren't deserved.

Honestly. OOC. No flaming. No trolling.

I really want to get a feel of how you people think.

Yeah, but the reason everyone hates them is that they've spent the last 50 years brutally occupying the Palestinian's land.

You might as well sympathise with a rapist coz the police are so aggressive towards them.

So I gather you have not studyed up on the history of isreal and how it came to be?

Go find out and come back.

Actually, for the first time since the Eisenhower Administration (he declared an arms embargo on Israel), sanctions may well be coming....

Depends how the AIPAC scandal plays out - two members resigned to try to keep the heat off the organization itself, but if the final proof comes in that secret info was passed to Israel through AIPAC, they may have to register as foreign agents anyway...

...Laura Bush's reception in Israel this week, with all those Pollard supporters screaming and throwing stuff at her probably didn't sit well with George W. - who's already pissed by Sharon breaking his agreement not to build any more settlements - that promise was made to him, not the Palistinians...plus, Sharon trying to stick him with yet another bill for the West Bank Wall, and it looks like this time, the White House will say no...Bush was pissed off at Sharon anyway, after Sharon said that the West Bank settlements needed to expand from natural growth - as Bush said "Does he think I'm an idiot? Doesn't he know that I know that half the houses are empty?"

...Sharon's speech in the U.S. this week being met by hecklers didn't help Israel's cause - all those shouts of "Jews don't deport Jews" must have given pause to a lot of Americans who wonder if there really is an Israeli fifth column in the U.S. - when they find out just how many wanted American criminals Israel is harboring, and the money laundering, and the Ecstasy smuggling, that will lead to some pressure...

...but, amazingly, Tom DeLay's scandals may be the breaking point - it was Jack Abramoff who got him in trouble – Abramoff’s already in trouble for embezzling money from an Indian casino and sending it to Israel, but it was a joint idea of his and DeLay to pump up the Christian Zionist movement, and now that he’s dragged DeLay into one of his crimes, that more than anything would turn the Christian Right against Israel. DeLay is their poster boy, and if he goes down because of Abramoff, they won't forget it. Bush is pretty ticked at DeLay for practically wrecking his foreign policy initiatives in the Middle East too, and won't be sorry to see him go.

As Norman Finkelstein points out, the Zionists are actually very weak, which is why they have to go to such desperate lengths - keep hitting them with the facts, don't let them mystify the conflict or divert it to other issues, and sooner or later, the whole sleazy fraud of Israel has to come down...

Not all UNSC Resolutions are created equal. Read up on it, you may learn something.
