Samantha Powers, Another Failure For Obama To Hide Behind

Poor Vettebigot! With a colored President, Attorney General and now National Security Advisor, it must seem like the world is coming to an end for him.

For those who deem themselves "first tier," please list age, education, and vocational experience.

It's what Obama has been doing since day one, kissing ass, and it hasn't brought us anything except international contempt and laughter.

Yeah, no.

/International Litster.

It's what Obama has been doing since day one, kissing ass, and it hasn't brought us anything except international contempt and laughter. The woman is a looney tunes left wing idealist. She could represent the ivory towers but never the American people.

I recall several years ago when Air Force One had to refuel in Shannon, Ireland at 3 a.m. in the morning....

8,000 Irish turned out to boo the plane.

They got up at 3 a.m. in the motherfucking morning to boo a motherfucking airplane.

That, my dear Vettebigot, is international contempt.

So, please, fuck off and die at your earliest convenience.

Instead of calling names on the Internet, why not go meet the person you dislike and say those things in person?

One wonders what it would take for you to stop your incessant whining.

Where were you when BusyShit was n-bombing all of his posts for damn near three years and Cold War Era Time Capsule turned a blind eye to his nut-warmer's "liberty?"

Yeah, thought so.

Actually, what it appears to have brought us is a level of international respect greatly improved since the W years.

In short, Obama insists on promoting incompetence, namely females he can hide behind when something goes wrong . . .

Wait, what?!

Is that going to be your interpretation whenever Obama appoints a woman? When any POTUS appoints one? Because what other interpretation could there be?

I have forwarded your home address to NOW. Put your affairs in order.

True, but overstated.

Obama got a big bounce in his first year, but his worldwide approval rating has slipped each year since. He's at 41% now, which is higher than Bush's eventual 34%, but much lower than Obama's initial 49%. At any rate, he's headed more toward Year 8 Bush than Year 1 Obama.

His numbers in Europe are generally good. Elsewhere, not so much. And in the spots we need to care about--particularly the Middle East and North Africa (the former is under the Asia numbers), he's down. Except, funny enough, in Iran, where he's up three points from last year.

Here's the report: it doesn't take long to click through, and the graphs make the case pretty easy to follow: http://www.gallup.com/file/poll/161309/US_Global_Leadership_Report_03-13_mh2.pdf

41% > 34%

'nuff said.

41% > 34%

'nuff said.
Not really enough said. In 2007, Bush's second-to-last year in office, he was at 38%. Not very different from 41%, and remember Obama's been heading down each year.

I don't think it's unreasonable to think he'll be somewhere between Bush's two numbers by the end of his term, given his current trend. Something could change for the better, but then it could also change for the worse.

If we want to let Vetteman know that his made-up numbers are driven by his blind partisanship and intellectual--shall we say, limitations--we can't hold ourselves to any lesser standards.

You have a point, but with the Vettemans of the world, Obama could hold 95% favorability and they would still bemoan the 5% burning Old Glory in SomewhereWhereThere'sBrownSkinnedPeopleInRobesWithFunnyNamesYellingLoudly-A-Stan.

For them, smashing their faces in a higher numerical metric is sufficient to "win."
