Time constraints, mostly. If I'm going to respond, I can't really just say, "I agree" or "I disagree" and leave it at that. I'm going to end up feeling compelled to respond in a very thorough way, perhaps even point-by-point.

So, I'm exercising self-control and stopping before I start, but I wanted to at least acknowledge that is an interesting addition to the board and recognise the contribution.
