My goodness woman i'm in the middle of a crises and you are no where to be found!!!!

Arrgggg...

It's Sunday night/Monday morning..I was half way finished LTJ Bukem Earth Vol.1 and BAMN..NOTHING. I lost it!!!

And I only have crappy LTJ with Mc Conrad. And although Mc Conrad is good..in some instances..I just want the music..not the voice!!!

So anyways...ya..i'm LTJless and now listening to Bjork <Not that she's bad..but I'm only in the mood for LTJ.>

Hrmm..


Come to think of it..i got the new Amon Tobin.

Lets see how the fits.

Here I am! I am still looking for the non-Conrad version of "Western"... sometimes I feel like it's my Holy Grail or something. Dunno what I'll do when I finally find it.

I still want to file transfer to you "The Age Of Affordable Retina." I think you'd really dig it.

I've been listening to a good bit of Bjork these days, too. She's best (to me) in small amounts mixed up in a random playlist. It's hard for me to listen to her albums start to finish. But I absolutely love "I Miss You." Those drums! Those horns! Good stuff.

Cotton Wool is an absolute favorite! I'm partial to the Fila Brazilia mix, but the original is good, too. I really like Bonfire, by Lamb. Her voice is so dark and growly for such inspirational lyrics. I like the juxtaposition.

Another favorite is the song called Firefly, by Homelife, off of Fila Brazilia's AnotherLateNight comp.

Lamb is my second Fav. band next to portishead..sooo..ya..

One of my friends refrenced Lamb's "Coton Wool" to John Coltran. Very similar stuff...i love the thought of that.


Have you checked otu any other Late Night Mixes?

the Zero 7 mix is GREAT.

But i'm a huge fan of Leftfield as well as just Fila himself.
