I can see them being knowingly involved. The things they say are literally the exact kind of things you’d say to destabilize a democratic republic to weaken its institutions, erode the people’s faith in its government, and reduce the power of its military.

When it comes to politics and social media, I go the reverse direction of the classic rule. These people are constantly getting info from behind the scenes, and I’ve learned that you should never excuse as stupidity what can just as easily be blamed on greed or cruelty. An ordinary person doesn’t have multiple lawyers and accountants on retainer telling them what is and isn’t illegal. These guys do.
