There is a rumor going around that Siegfried was initially denied entry to see him at the hospital. Do you know if there is any truth to that?

Siegfried and Roy have apparently been split as a couple for a while. I doubt that rumour has any validity as he (Siegfried) is apparently holed up in hosptial as well to be near Roy. Horn has had a stroke now, and apparently has undergone another surgery to relieve the pressure on his brain. There are a lot of rumours flying right now.

Sigefried and Roy are famous not just because of their act but because they began a breeding program for the very endangered royal white tiger. Due in part to their aggressive conservation and education efforts the species, while still endangered, has a chance at survival. White tiger hides are very rare, and consequentally, hunters make good money off of them. They were hunted nearly to extinction left in the wild. Several zoos in the world have tigers from the S&R breeding program and the education about these truely rare and exotic animals continue. Your children and your children's children will get to see animals like this tiger because of their efforts. So, in this instance leaving them to the wild would have been disastrous.

Um, the money that they are grossing on the show helps pay for their upkeep. These animals are NOT cheap to maintain. The show used to gross a million a week, plus there are other animals in the act. ...

Has anybody ever actually gotten proof that these two are gay? From what I've always heard - and this is confirmed by glbtq's entry on them - they never actually admitted to being gay, let alone a couple. Sure, we all think they are, but I don't think anybody's gotten conclusive evidence.

What other proof would you want Etoile? Pictures of them kissing in front of the Mirage?

So my question is, do we exclude them from the glbt community because they might not be fucking each other? (or anyone else for that matter?) They have never said yes, they have never said no and quite frankly, I think it would be downright rude to barge into Sigefried's bedroom to find out.

My point is, does it bloody well matter? I mean, why should it?
(now, if you are a purist you will say yes it does matter because this is a glbt board...so I will say this...the night of the attack Sigefried showed up at the hospital with his arm around a much younger man but I know nothing more than that)

Wow, Rhys, that's pretty harsh. I raised the issue because people always assume that S&R are a couple, when in fact they have never confirmed that they are. (I have heard in the past that they denied it, but I don't know what they have said recently.)
