been seeing someone for a while and for various reasons we haven't had sex yet so we pretty much stick to 'lighter' stuff.. anyhow last night when we were playing he started fingering me, harder than usual, but me being me enjoyed it a lot even though I could feel a bit of pain. Given the fact its extremely hard to make me feel anything pain and pleasure mixed together seemed like a brilliant idea to me. Fastforward 5 minutes later he did something I didn't like and being the gentleman he is he stopped.Next thing I heard was 'ohh fuck, can't believe I've done that to you'. His hand was covered in blood,same for my legs.

He felt really bad bout it and I'm not sure how to explain to him that sometimes I prefer to feel a bit of pain than nothing at all. And another question is that a normal thing to happen with quite rough fingering? there was quite a lot of blood so I was a bit shocked

sounds like he needed to trim his fingernails.. since it's such a sensitive area, a scratch can draw a lot of blood even though the same scratch might not draw blood on another part of the body..

Thanx..I did think bout it but in all honesty his fingernails are rather short and welltrimmed..that's what am so confused by it..

I'm going to take it that you were nowhere near the time of your menstral cycle?

I've encountered bleeding caused by fingering my partner just once in my life. It was an energetic session with my then-wife. I wasn't being particularly rough with her but for some reason she just got real freaky and wild that night and was bumping and grinding really, really hard. I was happy to oblige of course (I was hoping it would lead to more rough stuff later).

When we finished and found the blood, I was very concerned. It wasn't a LOT, at least not what I would think of as a lot, she said it was about like "bad spotting". But she didn't appear to be greatly upset, I guess that with her being used to seeing blood there on a fairly regular basis it was not a big issue. In any case, she never did get that "bouncey" during any fingerings again.

Wish I had more insight for you, but that's my only experience with it. Now if you want to know about blood from needles or cutting... *grin*

Sometimes if the cervix is bumped it will cause some bleeding. If the penetration was deep maybe this was the case.

My gf has pretty long fingernails so bleeding is a pretty regular occurance with me.... then again, deep, hard and rough is also part of the deal too.

As long as it doesnt hurt for too long and the bleeding stops within a couple of hours, then I dont worry.... maybe Im a little blaise about it now but the first time we were both more than a little concerned.
We've been together over a year with plenty of rough/bleeding sex and well, I haven't died or had an infection so I'd say as long as his hands and nails are clean before hand, and you dont bleed for too long, then dont worry about it.

i was going to ask the same question as Geoff, because i know it's happened to be me before, rough sex, fingering, etc..brought on my monthly. and the amount that you are describing sounds like that's what happened, i've bled from being scratched on the inside by a finger like that, but it was never enough to cover my legs or his fingers.

Witcha wouldn't it be more prudent to contact your GP or a sex health clinic and make this enquiry. It's the volume of blood as you describe it that concerns me mostly

This is pretty common thing for me, i bleed alot during penetration, like Lilth said cervix bumping can be a pretty common cause and this is my problem, visited my gp and was informed that because im small i have small insides so even if im not penetrated roughly pretty often what ever is doing the penetraing bumps my cervix, but i agree with rebecca, visit your Gp just to make sure there is no underlying cause

Also if you have had children, you may have scar tissue that is ultra sesitive to cuts and abrasions

And no i'm nowhere near that time of the month and yes I prolly should have gone to the gp the next day but I had classes till 4 and had to be at work at 6 alas no time to spare. I stopped bleeding overnite so I guess it was not that bad.

So asking again,how do I explain to him that I liked rough fingering even if it caused a bit of pain?
