Perhaps this whole thread has been a demonstration of how easy it is to misunderstand printed humour. Don't know where the misunderstanding is best placed, as I am not a close enough friend of either gentleman, but would say both have a penchant for 'off' humour at times, which once I realise that is just what it is, I try and see the funny side of. More often than not I succeed.

Maybe WD is reacting to misunderstood humour from Rosco, or perhaps posters are reacting to misunderstood humour from WD. Perhaps it isn't always as serious as we first think around the board. Just my opinion, and maybe I am totally wrong and it was meant as a barb.

Could be wrong, but what I think Eb is saying is someone posting someone else on Lit or any site has died, using their screen name, does not mean an actual person has died, but more perhaps a personality...or a joke posting.....translation = the real living person behind the name is still alive and well. Now the post can mean for whatever reason we will not see RR as such on the board again..maybe RR is WD?!!....but also it could mean WD would like to not see that person on here again or is having a crack at them. I do not t this stage see any reason to believe a real person has died.
