Ropework photos

Bumping this thread once again to report on another great rope experience, this time with Master K, author of The Beauty of Kinbaku.

I've written up the whole experience on my blog , but wanted to show a couple picture just for Lit.

The tying my look rough and unclean in the first one, but part of it was the fact that being the first time he was meeting and tying me, he was learning my weak points and figuring out my tolerance to bondage. And by the last tie, the ropes where definitely tighter and cleaner.

Anyway, it was a great experience!
I had a huge smile that lasted for days :D

I saw parts of this before and thought it was really cool. I didn't consider the ropes sloppy. They just looked like real rope. A lot of the stuff done for photoshoots is super-clinical and only gets that way from the sort of slow precision, retying, and such that can ruin a scene IMO. I much prefer rope that looks like it came from an actual scene. It's just... better.

And it has been a loooong time since I tied and took photos. I think I got spoiled by having a friend of mine around for a lot of the stuff I did. Much as I dislike the idea of stopping to retie something super-clean, I also dislike stopping to take photos.

Rida, I forgot to tell you...I drooled all over my computer while looking at the pics in your blog. I thought you looked amazing in your photo shoot. I really enjoyed reading about each photograph; your thoughts, your feelings, etc. It was so evident; to see the reaction to the bondage, and the pain you felt. It was really profound stuff. Thank you for sharing.

It was a different experience from the ones I've had so far, as the focus was mostly educational, a sort of rope demo for me to learn and experience it. But yeah, the focus was not on making the ties look good (what I call the "vogue" of kimbaku approach), but to make them feel real while being pleasant ... to a certain point.

And for taking pictures, it does help to have someone in charge of it :)
So how about you tie one of your slave and the other acts as photographer? I'm sure I'm not the only one missing seeing your rope-work. :rose:

The photo shoot was a great experience. I'm glad I was able to put in words what I felt through it.

Bumping yet again this thread to report on new great rope experiences, this time in a public club, with Osada Steve of Studio Six Osada Steve of Studio Six and NdT, one of his students.

Sorry for the lighting. The pictures were taken with my iphone so the quality is a bit low.

Rida babe, you're so sexy.

Maybe someone here can help me with finding some resources on this topic. My partner and I enjoy this activitiy from time to time and I can do a pretty basic breast and body harness that I found on the web but we are interested in some more advanced ties and that kind of thing I haven't had any luck finding on the internet. Any help would be great.

Check the first post in this thread. There should be a link to a later post where I dropped a number of links to various tutorial-style sites. There's also at least one post where I mentioned books that I've enjoyed. I would not be surprised if many of those links aren't dead, but I'm sure some will still be active. The "Adult Rope Arts" mailing list on yahoogroups is very good as well.

There's quite a good bit of information available, you just have to know where to look.

Bumping up the thread to also do some shameless plugging for my blog

First of all, here is something that I hope will help avoid negative experiences to new rope enthusiasts, especially rope bottoms.

Rope Bottom Safety Decalogue

And here are some of my personal experiences but also interviews and write up on shows I witnesses over the last year.

Airuse Go ; Esinem ; Nawashi Kanna; Hajime Kinoko ; Kitagawa Shuhei ; Master K ; Miura Takumi ; Naka Akira ; Osada Steve; Shishikawa ; Tanaka Kinichi ; Umitsuki Kurage ; Urado Hiroshi ; Yagami Ren ; Haruki Yukimura ; Yoi

Yes, I think I'm really lucky! :D

Not sure I'm that good, just enjoying it :)

Hey girly, looks like you've been busy.

It is more than a year, but I thought the same when I saw the list!
And considering that I actually skipped and/or missed many many more events, it tells you how busy the rope world is over here!

Honestly, there are so many more nawashi I wish to see ... hopefully I'll have the chance eventually.

Thanks! :rose:

Lets be honest, the quick ties are the best.

Looking sexy as always Rida.

Well, personally I wished he would have kept me in the ropes for a little bit longer ... but I surely could not abuse my lucky star
