Thank you. The original pic was by Drew Posada, sadly now dead, much too early in life. He has many beautiful erotic pics that I was pleased and honored to have his personal permission to use for different projects I enjoy doing. I don't know if anyone still has his artwork up yet, as his own website has been down since shortly before his untimely death.

Isn't that such a wonderful feeling when you get permission like that- it's definitely an awesome feeling for me when famous writers grant me personal permission to use their pieces in things.

The lack of pics was noticed while she was surfing the thread for something. No idea how long it has been down, but I'll try to find some other place to host. It is likely to take some time, as I'm not up on sites that host stuff like this for free. If anyone has any worthwhile suggestions, let me know.

It is. I've been very honored to call several wonderful artists friends since joining the internet community. I've been able to stay in contact through sporadic emails with them, and enjoy when they send a quick one to just say HI. I know they are very busy, so that HI means a lot!!

Aaand I finally got the photos from saturday night. I have some work to do on them with cropping, resizing, and making sure her face is obscured in each shot. When I get them done, I'll post them.

I found this pic in Ebay, they are selling cotton rope and I found the view very nice. But I'm unsure if it is all ready-made.

The reason to look for rope is that I decided to give that instruction sheet for self-bondage a try. I think even you mentioned that pic one time. It's drawings a bit anime-like with a very simple karada.

when i was doing self bondage, that drawing was really helpful. and i highly recommend the "happy making place knot" as Master calls it

Safra, those knots may be seperate. Not sure. I have seen pre-tied karadas before, but they run the gamut. I would just grab some rope and try the method listed there. Many people have had success in self-bondage using karadas.

Yes, my boyfriend also said, they must be slid on.

As for the rope, I'm allergic to poly-clothes so I suppose it's better to stick to cotton. Also the Fetlife-Dom said it was better to wash so that it's hygienical. Probably a good suggestion given the "happy making place knots"...

I have a little story for you about my search for rope:

I live in the countryside, next big city is Hanover. So I consulted the net and found out there's a shop for everything maritime.
Called them and asked for cotton rope:
Elderly and old-fashioned shop-owner: Yes, we have! What do you want it for?
Remembered a suggestion for "normal" shops on a DIY-toys-thread and told him: A crafting project!
Me: Is it pre-washed? (I'm allergic to a lot of chemicals too)
He: I don't know. Why do you want to know? It's mostly bought as bondage rope! (A little stress on the word bondage...)
Me: Errr, ah yes, umm, exactly...
He: But youuuu want it for a crafting project, didn't you? (with a quite scoffing voice)
Me: Err, yes, no, it's versatile, isn't it? ...

Man, I'm sure he laughed about me after he put down the phone...

Seems I should indeed gather the courage and go to a munch in Hanover. Must be a quite lively "scene" there when elderly shop-owners talk so easily about bondage...

Also seems I should work on my inner "coming-out"...

If you ever have the cotton rope dilemma again, say you have horses. Horse people use cotton rope for everything because it doesn't cause rope burn for horses or people like nylon does if a horse accidentally gets caught up in it or takes off while you're holding him.

It's blue, not red like i liked but - shrugs - it will do... Plus I can always bleach and dye it anew...

Actually, one of my friends is really into it--he's usually asking for 'victims'....I need to ask his wife if she minds me being his rope bunny. If I let him tie me up I'll make sure there are pics. I really want to be able to just enjoy, now that I know its fun in more than just idea.

Only sad thing is almost no marks.....I didn't want to tie it too tightly because its low quality rope and I really don't want friction burns, just marks.

I did add photos of what marks there were to my album. (Never examined my belly this closely before. Navels are silly looking things.) I wonder if L is into hemp or cotton?

Cool, just be careful if you decide to bleach and redye. Cotton is wildly absorbent, and likes to hold onto chemicals. Said chemicals can leach out when used, and you might have skin issues with them.

Glad that you got a good deal though. I've honestly never thought about ebay as a source for rope.
