Romney election triumph would sink US reputation in Europe, poll finds

You don't care about the support of allies critical to the war on terror? No bro, we need their politicians to be able to stand up and support US policy around the world. That kind of thing goes a long way.

Well, why don't you just move there and kiss the ass of the Europeans directly instead of by proxy.

I'm kind of surprised. Most ppl I talk to here, and me, don't see Romney as a Bush style disaster. More like a pretty blah lightweight. The geneal idea is that while they'd prefer Obama, Romney wouldn't wreck the place and cause WWIII.

'Only 1 in 20 have a positive view of Romney'?

That sounds like the number of Europeans who have heard of Romney. Most Europeans wouldn't know who the current President of the US is.

About the only positive thing that came out of Romney's foreign policy disaster this week was that it brought unwanted attention to Romney's foreign policy advisory team, who...surprise, surprise!....turned out to be almost exclusively the Bush Administration's discredited PNAC crew.

Yeah, finding out John Bolton was on his team was scary. Luckily he won't be president so it doesn't matter.

REMEMBER WHEN EUROPEANS LOVED HIM? Der Spiegel:“Obama’s Middle East Policy Is In Ruins.”Of course, historically their taste in leaders has tended to lead to disappointment.

There is one good thing about Europe, they have the Euro.

Of course the UK still hasn't adopted it as the pound now out performs it.

Why would any country want to devalue it's currency by adopting he Euro?

So now we have a real picture of Merc in his American flag outfit.

So I guess you're no longer proud to be an American?

Best as I can tell, Merc has never been proud to be an American.....very similar to Michelle Obama.

You question the patriotism of Americans who criticize America? Really? This is where people who call your ilk fascists kind of have a point.

I'm very proud of America. I've never been proud of bad policy however.
