I am writing a story which requires a romantic scene that leads to hot sex, I am wondering if the ladies out there could tell me about some romantic situations that they have had that has led to hot sex.

I can think of the usual stuff candelit dinners etc, but my stories requires something a little different.

Stories

Anything that has some sexual tension involved is terrific...like when your partner decides to tease the hell out of you before they actually kiss or touch you. That always gets me hot. The buildup is often times very important, no matter where the scene takes place. Water is always a great setting...

Fire and rain

I find both fire and rain very romantic, Hudson. Walking in the slow rain... getting cold and closer and closer to each other to keep warm.

And fire, especially outdoors, and especially if both start the evening as old friends and end it as new lovers.

mmm the candles and wine stuff is a bit cliched unless it involves eating with your fingers on a big fur rug; massages are good; any seemingly innocous activity that leads to close physical contact - the best i got was when i grabbed a friend out of the way of a falling branch - she landed on top of me and we did that sudden gazing into each others eyes, then we got up blushing and walked home sneaking little glances at each other all the way.
the morning after we graduated to girlfriends not 'just good friends'
