Not for nothing, but have any of you other Gen Board regs checked out either of the role playing Boards? I avoided themself, but I decided to take a peek last week, and found some very creative, very involved stories. Yes, the Role Playing Board does tend to fill up with its "All Powerful Mages" and girls named "Sheena" riding "fiery steeds" and the dialogue is often very labored uber-D&D like "Come! Let us warn the village! We must prepare for the coming of the Dark One! Unleash the Boomba!" or whatever, but all in all it's pretty well thought out. The Sex role play board, too, has its share of cliches -- lots of naughty daughters, but there are also some very hot character based stories.

I was curious so I wrote a intro to story in the Role Playing section, and the group there has taken off with it. I don't think I'll do any role playing myself, but it is fun to check out.

So, if you've had enough of Gurus, Newbies and Mayonaisse check out the role playing boards, just for a kick.

No kidding! Some of this dialogue is really hysterical. And sometimes I get the impression that the participants take their role-playing a bit too seriously.

I am helping in writing a story (at least i think it is still being written). It's called "When the God's Meddle" It's on the online roleplaying board here on literotica. It's the only one I am on, and I find it great to help my creative juices to get flowing <g> yes pun fully intended.

That's actually where I started on this board. It was a blast getting to play God with your character's life. The other players can throw you a curve-ball, so you have to be ready for anything. It was from that board that I then found this.

The story threads and the writing cover everything from very good to omigod.

I do happen to run a RP BB myself (and YES - it is related to a fantasy realm) - and I do read the mediaeval RP and participate in the sexual RP here too ... and HEY!!!! I never came acros any Boombas (or was that boobs? now that would be a completely different matter and of course I am voting for "unleashing the boobs" ... ladies over her for a lashing or unleashin - or whatever you desire to have done with those magnificent boobs )

Now that somehow was off subject - or "OOC" (out Of Character) as we would say "o'er there on the RP BB"

The fact is that it is a challenge if done right .. have you tried to sound witty and write some cool funny stuff in a story when you never know how the other characters involved will react?? I for myself do think it is the next challenge (mind you - challenge as in far as wit and fast reaction etc. goes - I am NOT talking about style of writing here) after writing some little stories for myself where I am the one to decide what all characters are gonna do and so I know what will be the outcome of it all - but in the RP ... damn - let me tell you you can be in for quite a few surprises!!! *winking over at the "Convention" - crew or the "Orgy" from a while back - thanks Savage Kitten, that REALLY got me hooked!*

Are we taking it too serious? Well - I would say some of us are - and there are people I would wish they would take it more serious! I am surprised though about the amount of talented, witty and quite in-depth players specially on the sexual RP!! Not where you would usually expect it, huh?? Of course there are a lot "saw her/him - wanted her/him - took her/him - fucked the shit out of her/him" threads ... but there are a few real fun ones .. I think the "high school tease" has been going for two or more month and only a little while ago there was the FIRST blowjob in the whole thread (so there are those with a story developing!)

Well - you all can tell I am addicted to RP - no matter where and what and there unfortunately is never enough time for it - but if you are real bored and are looking for a fun read - come on over! There is good reading if you don't want to participate - but I do think once you get there - you will return! *insert evil witch laughter here*

I'm also involved in a roleplay on the RP board, and have been involved in others there too. I never before taken any part on roleplays before I started here, and I have to admit that it's great fun, and also a challenge.

I agree that the different roleplays do vary in quality. But I think given some time the quality are going to get higher, when people first get used to it.

Hi All!....I would like to say that I have been in a SRP tread for a month and a half...I enjoy it very much...I never really learned how to write properly,but I try my best...Also it has helped me with my spelling.(Damn did'nt know I could learn something educational at a sex site!)...I think there is around 60 post on it now...I don't know how much longer it will go on,but I will keep doing it untill I or the other players decide to end it...If you would like to check it out,it is the "BDSM" tread on the SRP section....Thanks!
