This is the worst thread anyone has started in a long time, I think.


Roger waters, former singer and bassist for Pink Floyd, hates you. I'm listening to the live performace CD of The Wall, and before the song 'Run Like Hell'...He asks the audience if they are weak, and they scream out in glee. He mutters, sneer in his voice, "Pathetic...", and dedicates the song to them. As the song begins, he screams"Let's have a clap!!...Enjoy yourselves!!", and you can just hear the venom dripping from his voice. You can tell he hates his audience with a passion.

Trippy, no? They(and me) pay his bills, and he hates them with enough passion to write a rock opera which has as a major theme his absolute disgust with audiences.

No, I guess not...he hates the audience for loving him, near as I can tell....he insults them, and they eat it up, proving that his contempt is in fact justified.

Actualy, What he's alluding to was the point of the song, people being sheep, and the audience only verifing that fact. Most of Waters' songs were about Sid Barret, they're first lead singer.

Well, sure, up until that point...but Waters was branching out into more personal issues, like the death of his father, and the 'burdens' of being a rock star.

Well, the 'Wall' is actualy my least fav PF album. (OMG, HERESY!) Welcome To The Machine is my fav, with a close second being 'Animals' and anything earlier. Ever see 'The Valley' was 'Obscured By Clouds'? Tripppyyy!
