Rockin and Rollin (PM me to join )

Benji listened to her confession and realized she was telling him things she had never voiced. He could tell from the look in her eyes. As she looked down he felt a little bad. He tilted her chin up to him. "Its okay. I've been used before. I just prefer knowing it up front. The thing is if I'm going to be in this band Max has to know where he stands with me and me with him. If he's gonna start thinking I'm just around so you can rub me in his face he won't trust me. But, if he knows up front that I'm interested in you and you in me then he can decide to let us be or at least tell you the truth." He cupped her cheek in his hand. "Either way, I do want to go out with you, Allie. I want to get to know you for you."

Allie smiled, wiping away tear, happy tears. "That is the sweetest thing anyone has ever said to me." She sighed, but she had to be honest with herself she couldn't possibly go out with Ben, not because she didn't like because she did but..she still had a thing for Max which wouldn't have been fair to Ben. "I can't go out with you though because I know that deep down inside that I still have thing for Max and until I know for sure how he feels.." Allie's voice trailed off, "but you can't hold this against him ya know? I wouldn't want this I mean what could've possibly been us to ruin your whole band thing. I would feel terrible."

Meanwhile...

"Grrr..." Liz pouted, wanting so badly to see what was going on, she had to admit that Benji was cute especially when she pissed him off but nonetheless he obviously had a thing for Allie that much was obvious. Oh well, she could probably flirt with Leon the new keyboardist for the time being. Where was he? "Um, Alex you can let go now..."

"There's other bands." He told her. "Besides, this won't ruin it for me. I can play with about anyone." He smiled. He squeezed her hands. "And if screws up and doesn't really want t be with you, don't be surprised when I step in." He stared at her. "You are special Allie, believe it."

"Yeah, I know it won't ruin it for you but even though I talk alot shit about them, they're really good and deserve a really good drummer since I literally stole their drummer. " She said with a playful drummer then at his compliment she blushed, "Thanks."

He glanced back over her shoulder at the other girl. "You really need to get a leash on your friend over there by the way." He warned her. Liz glared at him and even stuck her tongue out a little. Then he had to laugh at her.

"No, no...I think she likes you...she only spends that much energy on guys whose attention she actually wants.. that means you'll only be getting more problems out of her. " Allie said, "We're alike in that way...good luck with that." Allie said with a giggle.

He glanced over her shoulder again. "Cool, maybe I'll put a leash on her." He said as he followed Allie back into the garage, though she whirled around to stare at him in disbelief. "What? I'm only saying..." He shrugged, then licked his lips. "She's Alex's sister?" He asked.

"Yeah, twin...she dyed her hair blonde because she didn't like having brown hair like Alex..she likes being an individual. You'd think being a girl is enough." Allie said rolling her eyes.

Liz sighed as she sat on the drum seat thing playing on the drums like she actually knew what she was doing. Nadia had tried to teach her how to play drums, but she never had the patience to learn. Now, she was just sitting there, just to bug Benji.

Benji walked up to Liz as she sat on his seat. "Wanna switch?" He asked, offering to play guitar for them. Believe it or not Benji was an accomplished musician and could play guitar as well. She looked up at him. Benji wasn't freaky about anyone touching his stuff like were some people. mostly all Liz was doing was making noise. She looked up at him. He glanced at Allie before looking back at Liz. "Lets start this again." He told her. "My name's Benji. Nice to meet you."

Liz stared at him, he wasn't freaking out unlike Nadia who yelled at her when she had sat down by her drums. "Elizabeth..." she said slowly, pushing her unnaturally blonde hair out of her eyes. She stood up. "Allie you want some water?" She said ignoring Benjis prescence. "Sure." Allie said, trying to bite back a laugh. Allie knew what was going on. Liz was not used to guys being nice to her when she was being a bitch, she was used to them getting freaked out.

Benji smiled as 'Elizabeth' stood and tried to ignore him. Now that he knew the game a little better he wasn't going to let that happen. He loved teasing people who were easily annoyed. As she moved away form him he supressed a laugh.

"Nice..." Allie said after Liz left the room, "Normally she has guys freaked out one day and by the next shes flirting with them...they're so confused that they don't know what to do and she has them in their trap before they can figure it out. I'm certainly impressed." Allie said. "Oops.." Allie feigned innocence "I think I just gave away her secret though..."Allie smirked

Liz was in the kitchen getting Allie some water while trying to decipher why this guy wasn't freaking out. Why he wasn't wondering why she was being such a bitch?! Most guys were... maybe she wasn't being bitchy enough. Sure, it was alot easier when she could mention Max every 5 minutes, hmm, maybe when Max got there.

Liz set down the water and tied up her hair in a ponytail.

Benji hung out, twirling his sticks and talking with Alex a little. They talked a little about his sister, music, girls. He wondered about Nadia. He didn't ask.

Alex finally released his bass string. The note had long been drawn out and faded. But Alex had sunken in deep thoughts. He wasn't really aware of what happened around him. And if he should be aware, he didn't care. Somewhere deep inside, he wished everything was okay again. Or something in between okay and perfect.

Like Chaotic Frenzy and Sweet Surrender sharing the spotlight without the heckling and name calling. Playing sets filled with their best songs, land a record deal and rise up on their way to fame. Just this once he wished it.

He snapped out of his thoughts, rubbing his eyes. Last night had been too late, sleep had been short. But heck, it was well and truly worth it. He looked up at the rest, Benji in particular. He was a good drummer, but still needed to finish his audition. Alex grinned, both Benji and Lizzy were getting on each others nerves. Alex struck up a conversation with Benji, chatting about this and that.

Liz came back and handed Allie some water who thanked her. "Sorry bro, i would've gotten you some water but you seemed like you were happy in fantasy land with Nadia." Liz said teasingly with a smirk. Allie rolled her eyes, "Liz be nice..."

"What he did..."Liz said pouting..

'It's okay, I didn't want any either." Benji told her, making sure she knew he knew she had obviously ignored him. No, he wasn't going to place nice with this one. This one was going to be fun. He already decided he would torture her just because.

"It's okay... I'm fine." The blush had once again reappeared on his cheeks. Alex knew it was quite visible, but he couldn't help himself. Every time he thought about Nadia, last night... He really couldn't help himself. Alex turned to Benji, looking like he was going to make an apology for the behavior of his sister, but decided against it. It seemed that Benji already had his hand fulls on Allison.

"Anyway, since the rest hasn't showed up yet... Think we should hit another song or just improvise? I mean, we could record it." Alex pointed at a small dedicated microphone with a digital recorder next to it. "It could turn out to be something we might use some day."

Liz glanced at Ben trying to figure out how to deal with him. It was apparent that her normal games wouldn't work. She just smiled. "Oh, alright.." She gave him a sweet smile and turned her attention back to Allie as if she didn't give a damn.

"So, Allie when is our next gig? Soon right?"

"No, we have to find another club that will actually book us..."

"Oh, I know! Maybe the club that books Chaotic Frenzy for next week, didn't they have some spots open Alex?"

Alex thought about it. Another gig for the girls meant they would be closer to a record deal. But he didn't want the last gig to be repeated. It was a dilemma he had to choose, and he eventually settle his choices with the girls. For Nadia's sake he figured. "Yeah, I guess they might have one or two open spots. However, you might need to make some new songs. I doubt they want a band with only three songs."

Alex shrugged, he knew Chaotic had more than three songs. That's why they were booked there. Hell, they had enough material for an entire album if not two. If they only could reach that record deal...

"YES!!" Both girls squealed. "You can't tell Max though...." Allie said, "and you know why. He'll ridicule us and that sort of thing. I really don't need that right now. Can you give me the number? If you can't find it, can you call me and give it to me later?" Allie asked

Alex was taken by surprise when the girls exclaimed their enthusiasm so suddenly. He sat down on his amp, still thinking about it. He wondered what Max would say when he saw Sweet Surrender play in the same club again. Alex decided he didn't care. He pulled out his phone, instantly thinking about giving Nadia a call.

He searched for the number of the club, passing Nadia's name in the list. He paused a moment, staring at the name. Alex knew he should call her and it would be the first thing he did. Just getting some courage was all he needed. When he found the number Alex gave his phone to Allison. "You can call them now if you want. See if you can get a hold of Frank, he's the manager there and the guy for all the bookings. Tell them you're a friend of Alex from Chaotic Frenzy."

"Awesome!" Allie said, as she pulled out her cell phone and waited for Alex to give her the number. She couldn't believe her luck! Finally, things were starting to look up for Sweet Surrender. Eventually they would get signed, yes things were definately starting to look up.

Alex called the number, with every digit he knew he was getting Max' fury on his neck closer and closer. But what the heck... Perhaps they would all get along and work things out. Perhaps, but most likely not. At least Chaotic was getting a full band, Alex already consider Benji a member of the band. But he didn't say that. It was Max' call on that.

"Alright, it's 555-5492. Ask for Frank, remember that. Else you probably won't get booked. You might have to send him or play some songs. I don't know for sure. When we got booked there he knew us by reputation."
