Just to let ya know I am not ignoring anybody here. I have been jumping in and out of the BB today because VH1 is having a Rock Star weekend and playing all the behind the Music shows on 80's bands.

I haven't seen the movie yet..I know, I'm slacking. But my best friend has and he dug it. I will be seeing it next weekend with a group of friends...I will be dressing for the event. I like to freak people out like that.

Watching VH1 this weekend was like watching MTV 10 or 15 years ago, before they went to shit. Best line I heard today: Sebastian Bach said Dee Snyder looked like Mae West on acid. Even my wife laughed her ass off at that and she hates the metal scene.

Anyway...you can have the 90's. I am tired of bands that do nothing but stare at there amplifiers or their shoes and try their best to not be sexy. Even Johnny Ramone said Rock-n Roll was 50% music and 50% image. It's no wonder AJ from the Backstreet Boys is in rehab. Your most avid female fans are having you sign their coloring books..I would drink too LOL

The 80's was one hell of a party and the 90's were a sleeping-it-off hangover...

Time to party again...I hope

Im giddy tonight cause tomorrow I get to go to a 200 person private show with Godsmack where they are going to film for their new video!

then the full blown show with Saliva and Revelie (sp?)

I love some of today's music but I am also a huge 80's rock fan. Godsmack reminds me of that era with their simple yet tight hard rockin sound.

Saw them two years ago in Cleveland with Black Sabbath....

Their drummer is from a well known 80's hair band. I can't for the life of me think of who...

I am getting very old ya know...
