Google may prove me wrong, but memory is that the show was not called Welcome Back Kotter until John Sebastian wrote that great song for it using the phrase over and over. Then they renamed the show to match the song.

It was originally just Kotter.

LOL Didn't start the thread, but it's a good way to keep track of celebrities "goings". Much too many lately. Seems like a lot of TV personalities lately. Wonder if they're starting their own "unreality show"?:cool:
