A Signmaker puzzle is two sentences that clue to two new sentences composed of the same letters but with different spacing. For example, the answer to a signmaker might be:

Here lies one very thin grump.
He relies on everything rump.

Solve the following:

Excel, healers, or I'll swallow this nail.

With my gun, I diet.

I'm a bit tired so i haven't had a go at this yet....

What is wrong with you people?

I'm losing faith in the GB crowd, come on show me some smarts!

I think I'm lost on how it's done...

Excel, healers, or I'll swallow this nail.

With my gun, I diet.

e x c e l h e a l e r s o r i l l s w a l l o w t h i s n a i l

w i t h m y g u n i d i e t

I spaced out the two sentences to make them easier to work with then I started spacing them differently just to see if I get a recogniseable word:

e xce (that's not working)

excel he ale (then it collapses)

nearest I got for the first sentence, I think, was...

excel he alers or ills wall owt his nail

but that gives me two words the same as the original: excel and nail one word that doesn't make any sense at all alers and the whole thing being nonsense...but am I on the right track?

Or am I hopelessly lost?

The first sentence is just the clue , to construct a second sentence, that is then respaced.

lol nooo not hungover, but the riddle hurt my head silly:p :p
