It took 72 years for him to give in, kicking and screaming all the way. Known as a wild man prone to outbursts, drunken shenanigans, and odd behaviour driven by some principle he had, unbeknownst to anyone else. A wonderful film or stage presence who brought himself to all of his roles. He did some good films, some terrible films, but I was always glad to see when he made an appearance in a movie.

His performance in Camelot first turned me on to musicals so many years ago.

Then, anything i could find with him was fair game for an evening's entertainment.
