Rewriting Story and breaking in to Parts

My story is 25,000 words; published 8 years ago; rating score was good despite typos. The story is now re-written as three-parts. Overall plot is same but the writing is tightened and improved. If the story is submitted as a 3- part SERIES, must the original title be kept with a suffix added to it? Or, can it be submitted with a new title and just a reference to the original?

I’ve done it both ways. The Scorned Young Woman has numbered parts, and Cuckholding a Follower has unique names for each part. Using numbers seems to be most common. Just be sure to state your intention in the Notes to Admin block.

I take it you're removing or have removed the original? I think changing the name is fine (I'm doing that myself on a reworked series), but I'd definitely include an author's note about the changes to make it clear you're not ripping off someone else's work.
