In the link provided, yes that is what's said. It sounds to me like you may have taken it as a negative, but it looks like a positive to me.

Knowing that, I can see why he is so calculating and rational. But without the raw emotion behind him, he remains a big of an enigma.

Which I really like.

Looks to me like this review might sell a few more books.

I took it as a positive, but I want the reviewer to have a deeper understanding of the protagonist.
