Resubmitting rejected stories (authorship)

I posted a bunch of stories to Reddit, and over the past year, I've lost trust in Reddit as an archive, so I've been attempting to archive my past stories onto Literotica (with the option of posting future stories here if Reddit goes south).

My stories are getting rejected because Literotica says I'm not the author. (Some are also too short, so I'll just drop those, but all of them are getting rejected for authorship.)

My options:

1. Resubmit without explanation. I tried to be helpful, and I linked my old stories - they're timestamped by Reddit from before AI generators were widely available, so I thought that would be a neat negative control for whatever AI detection software they're using. If there's no independent plagarism check, then it simply won't be flagged. Of course, if there's a plagarism check, I look really bad.

2. Resubmit with a clearer explanation that I'm the original author. To be clear, I'm the author, and my Reddit username is u/dpp-sewardsfolly, matching my Literotica username of dppsewardsfolly. I don't know how to prove this - I suppose I could put up a post on Reddit that just says, "Hi, Literotica. It's me, dppsewardsfolly."

3. In the rejection message, it tells me that I should contact a volunteer editor before resubmitting. This seems like a form letter, and inapplicable to my situation. But, I can go through the motions if this is really necessary. I suspect this option will quickly lead back to Options 1 or 2, though, because the requested information isn't about the content, just the format.

4. Give up. I'm wasting my time, either by trying to build a "backup" archive at all, or by trying to do it on Literotica.

Does anyone have any insight into any of the options?

I'm curious how a story can be 'too short'. 750 words is pretty damn short.

But if you want to post your stories, don't reference Reddit. You might even do a little rewrite. By that I me revisit each story and decide if it is still the story you want to tell or not. You might want to change a few things. Then post..
I posted a few stories on a role-reversal site and as I revisited them, I saw places where they needed a little or a lot of work.

You need to present a trail of proof, that Reddit you is Lit you. Damned if I know how you do that, but that's what you've got to do.

Do you have a set of your own archive files? I'm guessing not, but if you did, they might have an earlier time stamp than the Reddit versions. That's all I can think of, to do.

First suggestion - if the link to Reddit is in your story, that's a no-no according to the submission guidelines. It looks like you're sending the reader to another site to finish the story and especially so if you're posting stories as chapters.

Second suggestion - a polite message to Laurel explaining what you're trying to do and why may work wonders. Do that before you submit any stories and put a note in the box for moderators in the story that you submit. It might take Laurel a bit to answer because she's pretty busy, but every time I've had a problem she's come through for me.

Does the rejection say that you are not the author, or that they were rejected for being AI? Those are very different things.
The rejection says that I'm not the author and/or they were too short. I was trying to be fancy and point out they can't be AI because of the time stamp, but I'm probably going to stop trying to be fancy.

Most of the stories were posted to r/dirtywritingprompts, where a short story answers a very specific prompt. When I first posted, I thought I had to reply before the prompt dropped off of the front page, so I quickly posted a short reply rather than take the time to write a longer story. The later stories are longer because I realized the rules allowed me to create a new post for the replies.

I can make a Reddit post including a keyword that an evaluator here gives to me. I just don't know if that's good enough.

I have my own archive files, but the last revised date would be the date I posted it, since I usually give it a once-over before I post. The whole time stamp thing was just putting the cart in front of the horse - I know that there's a whole thing about stories getting flagged as AI, and I thought I had a clever solution. I'm not going to bother any more.

The link to Reddit was in the moderator notes. There's nothing in the story text. I even scrubbed the Reddit formatting.

I would love to send a polite message to Laurel, but I don't know how.

If the story is less than 750 words, then it's the OR half of that rejection notice and you are barking up the wrong tree

If you've not been rejected for suspected AI then no need to prove that the story is not AI.

Stories must be 750 words long or longer. If they are shorter than that then you cannot publish them here, the reason for their length doesn't matter. You can edit them to make them meet the minimum word count.

To message Laurel, you can click the little envelope top right of your screen and start a new conversation. Recipient name is "Laurel"
Laurel approves/rejects all the stories here.
Hopefully she'll reply and tell what evidence is required, or you could resubmit the ones longer than 750 words with a note that you are the author and asking if further evidence is required.

If you have multiple too-short stories, you can combine them into an "anthology" and post them together. Just try to come up with some overarching theme to explain why they belong in one story posting. I've seen it done multiple times.

Thank you!

Thanks for the suggestion, but I will probably just not resubmit. They're old, hastily-written stories for a very specific prompt, that I feel obligated to save, but I'm not thrilled about revising. If I really wanted to, I could just put a little more detail into the story and bring it up to 750 pretty easily per story, but there's enough of them to discourage me.
