Restraint "furniture" - functional requirements?

I'm toying with the idea of building a flexible restraint device. The device will probably be bolted to the floor, ceiling or wall - or a combination of these.
By 'flexible' I mean that the device should be capable of serving different purposes, and ideally also be capable of accomodating subs of varying height and body shape.
I realise that there is a practical limit to the amount and variety of functions of a single device. Therefore the following functionalities should not be seen as indispensable requirements, but rather a list of wishes/ideas:

1) Serve as 'whipping cross' where the sub is restrained in an upright standing, spread-eagled position. Front or back against the 'cross'.

2) Variation of (2), where the legs are pulled up and spread, with support under the thighs. Possibility of adjusting the height of the person restrained / supported. In this position the person resting on the device could also be a Dom/me, positioned for oral servitude of cock/cunt/ass. Therefore it should be possible for the sub to lay on her back under the Dom/me, as well as kneel in front of Him/Her.

3) Serve as a 'bench' where the sub is resting on her back, with easy access to all holes. The height of the 'bench' should be individually adjustable at the ends in order to facilitate simultaneous fucking of cunt/ass and mouth by men of varying height. The 'bench' should include some sort of stirrups to support and restrain the arms and legs of the sub, as well as means of restraining the body. It should also include some sort of head support, the purpose of which is partly to enable the sub to stay comfortable for a long period, and partly to prevent her from withdrawing when a cock or other bodypart is fed to her.

4) Serve as a 'bench' where the sub is resting on her stomach and chest, with easy access to her cunt and ass. The height of the 'bench' should be adjustable in order to facilitate fucking of cunt/ass by men of varying height.
The 'bench' should include means of restraining the body, arms and legs of the sub.

5) Variation of (4), where the head and arms are locked in a pillory-like fashion.

Ideally, it should be possible to change between some or all of these functions, while the sub is attached to the device.

What do you all think of this? Have anyone tried, seen or imagined something similar? Are there other functionalities you would add? Are there any obvious problems or concerns - something I may have overlooked?

sounds like you want a St Andrews Cross and an Inpection bench combo or just make the inpection bench with the 2 X 4 legs go up above the bench part a series of hole drilled into the "Legs" that extend up past the padded flat table part I would construct it so that it will all come apart and if wanted the table couls be flat at dif hights locked in place by dowels or pipe your bench so make it out of what you want, both can be drilled for eye bolts strap attachments and if wanted the table can also be places on an angle PM me and we can talk about the rest of idea an dthen we can Email

wish I could put down on paper what in my head it took awhile but I think it will work out like I see it in my mindseye. and as I started I came up with other little nicities like holes in the table top so that the breasts will stick thru and can also be stimulated and TIT TORTURE ahhhh yes nipple clamps with weights on legs up the cross head pointed towards the groung cross area open in the back as I have it on a angle so I can flogg the privates all at the same time yes there is a smile on my face as I think this thru

This apparently means being naked, having lines drawn on me and having photos taken of particular parts of me.

He has said its not sexual

He has talked about this 'thing' before, but taking measurements....OMG he actually means to build it

At present I feel a mix of things ~ nervous, anxious, pleased he thinks about me (its a girl thing) and a host of other emotions as well.

But he's an engineer, once he has designed it he may get bored of the idea and never actually build it.

Then how would I feel

Edit to add: Soupy if you have a sense of humour, Lit is a good place to be. Personally, I don't mind someone having a few laughs at my expense. By the time this 'thing' is designed I am sure I will be the first one making jokes. But that will only be to cover my fears lol.

We just had some bondage "modular" furniture donated to our local dungeon. It is simply a bunch of aluminum tubes of various sizes, couplings and attachment points. It can be made into different shapes and purposes. I will be making it into a suspension point this weekend. I can try to get some pictures of it and get them posted.

as we talked about this the set up was to combine the two, but what if you just want to use the Cross as a stand alone piece?
the standard way is to have it up against the wall and the subject stand on the floor, but we are not making it that easy, we have ours tilted back and resing the top on something so thats it's on an angle. I think the subject need to have the feet on a "shelf" as to be able to stand there for HOURS at a time to be serviced
