So, you are perfectly okay for the minority party (WHICHEVER PARTY THAT IS) overturning the popular vote and installing itself in public.
If it were the Democrats overturning an election in which the Republican candidate(s) clearly won, would you be okay with that?
Obviously not.
That's the point; that is not how democracy works in a free and democratic society like the U.S. Or rather, that's not how it's supposed to work. Republican or democrat, abiding by the rules of free and fair elections is what's at stake here. Just because it's "your" party doing it, does not make it fair or valid.
Hold on there Sparky. What laws were passed in the State of Washington to subvert the will of the voters? Show me, if you can.Its interesting that nearly half the states supposedly attempting to pass laws subverting the will of voters, such as Colorado, Kansas, Kentucky, Illinois, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Washington, and Wisconsin have Democratic governors.
It can be reasonably said the state legislatures represent a majority of state voters. If you see 30 state legislatures doing something, that does not mean it represents the will of a majority of voters -- not even in one of them.
Looks like Lit may need a diaper service.
The article the OP shared has a list of states that are supposedly trying to pass laws that will circumvent the will of the voters. The title of his thread indicates his belief that it is a GOP plot, yet the article he shared shows that almost half the states have Democrat governors.Hold on there Sparky. This is not a matter of fraud. It goes deeper than that. What they're trying to do is change the rules.*chuckle*
Someone has been reading the polls and since democrats can't lose an election, then it has be fraud.
Of course, everyone called Trump crazy for wondering about fraud...
Who's getting crazy now?

Not with gerrymandering, it can't.It can be reasonably said the state legislatures represent a majority of state voters.
Then let's just clarify the point shall we? Washington does have a Democratic governor. And yes according to the article there have been 4 bills introduced to circumvent the will of the voters. But that's where your deceptive post goes awry. Those 4 bills were introduced (but have no chance to be passed) by the minority Republicans in the legislature. ANYONE in the legislature, with a second, can introduce a any bill they want. Much like the fate of the four mentioned, it doesn't mean it's going very far.The article the OP shared has a list of states that are supposedly trying to pass laws that will circumvent the will of the voters. Whatever point the OP was trying to make, he was not very clear about it. The title of his thread suggests the GOP is trying to subvert the will of voters. Unsubstantiated nonsense. Then let's just clarify the point shall we? Washington does have a Democratic governor. If you check the chart in that article for the rest of the states you mentioned, you will find it's much the same. I believe the point the OP was trying to make was that in EVERY state (even those where Dem's hold control) there are those who want to and try to pass legislation to circumvent the voters, or the majority.

All the bills in question are of Republican origin, aren't they?Whatever point the OP was trying to make, he was not very clear about it. The title of his thread suggests the GOP is trying to subvert the will of voters. Unsubstantiated nonsense.
Probably mostly of Republican origin. And probably some are good and some are bad. Are there any specific bills you wish to discuss? All the bills in question are of Republican origin, aren't they?
Such as? The whole report is linked in the OP. What bills identified there would you defend? And probably some are good
Haven’t read the 229 bills they think erode democracy but happy to comment on any specific bill you find objectionable. All I ask is that you link to the text so that I can read it unfiltered. Thanks.Such as? The whole report is linked in the OP. What bills identified there would you defend?
I can argue against ignorance by presenting the information to help alleviate that condition. I can not, nor will I try to argue with a belief, for it needs no concrete basis to exist, needs no facts to support it.Whatever point the OP was trying to make, he was not very clear about it. Feel free to present a bill that you feel circumvents the will of the voters and I’ll be happy to offer my perspective. All I ask is that you include text of the bill so that we’re working off primary source material. ThanksI can argue against ignorance by presenting the information to help alleviate that condition.
