I don't really care what photos Weiner sent to lady "friends" so long as he wasn't running on some kind of "decency" and family values platform--and so long as the ladies didn't object, of course. It's a whole other ballgame if they didn't want to see such photos and he was, well, being a dick.

Now, of course, it was incredibly stupid of him to do it, not to mention "improper" for a man in his position, though, at this point I'm no longer sure what is proper for political office. However, if one is going to do such a thing, then don't deny it when called on it. Say, "Yep, those are mine and I'm darn proud of 'em!" I think that's what annoys me the most. Not that these men think they can get away with this, or lie their way out, but just that they never think to own up and ask "so what?"

So long as they act like it's shameful it'll stay that way.

So Weiner is probably an egotist that feels that "he knows what women want." That is is his first mistake, his second is not honoring his position in Society, now that he is (was) a Congressman.

I heard a few days ago that his wife is pregnant, but that rumor seems to have died. I haven't seen what his wife's reaction to the story has been, but I believe she has spoken 'harshly' to Anthony.

He is not the first to believe he was above "all that", when elected. At least he didn't start another war.

No, I don't know. I haven't seen where it wasn't consensual. But, then, I wasn't following the story that close. Apparently you were.

I didn't need to know more about it. It wasn't mature or smart behavior, given his public position and his vulnerabilities, so I didn't have in trouble decided he should be bounced out of Congress.

And I don't think he went just because he was a distraction. He went because nobody in Congress had any loyalty to him. He irritated them all, Republicans and Democrats alike.

But again, his behavior is pretty much sanctioned among folks on a Web site like this, so I think it's either hypocritical for someone to make a big deal of it (other than saying he should be bounced for overplaying his hand, getting caught, and lying about it) or that someone isn't here for what this Web site is.

As I noted, I'd say that a majority of the folks here for the reason this Web site is here are into the same type of behavior or something even more sex focused and secretive. Most of us just aren't in his vulnerable position. He deserves to be bounced for being stupid more than for any other reason.
