Yes, did you watch the National Spelling Bee on ESPN last week?

This is a sporting event now?

Edited to add: So, they'd ask athletes to spell touchdown, hoop, puck, NASCAR and divot?

I didn't say it was a sporting event. I just said it was on ESPN. Do you think most athletes could spell touchdown?

I figured they'd be flummoxed with NASCAR, don't you?

Should I give them N-A-S-C-A?

Nah, they're tough. Just point to the sign and let them sound it out.

Though most athletes aren't that dumb. I think it's the fans, don't you?

Doesn't seem very smart to pay so much to attend a sporting event, does it?

It depends. For an Olympic event, yes, for pro sports, no.

Some of my friends go to basketball, football and hockey games now and then, but none holds a season ticket to anything.

Ever get stuck attending a baseball game? What a snooze. I happened to have a book on tape from the trip to the stadium. At least the afternoon wasn't an entire waste. Had good beer and hot dogs though. :)

Didn't you forget about rapper Nelly? Or is it hip hop Nelly? I don't know the difference but he's one of them.

I'm in here less now, that is true, but not because I'm mobile now, but because I got bored because my friends aren't posting in lit anymore but elsewhere. Oh well, does it count that I'm here now?

Do you like watching college baseball? Way too much "pinging" from the aluminum bats to snooze.
